Absolutely loved this stay! The hotel was in an amazing location. The beach and all the shopping was right out the door. The restaurant upstairs had gorgeous views especially for breakfast and in the evening. The spa had the perfect atmosphere. A heads up that you need to book the sauna ahead of time so make sure you get a booking because they fill up fast. Overall really loved this stay and will happily be back again.

Great location, modern rooms, clean. If staying with teenage kids or someone that's not your partner the bathroom design is open with glass doors. The rooftop restaurant had great views although regardless if you are staying at Avani or not Friday and Saturday nights were absolutely full of young ones and couldn't find a spot for a drink , there is another option ground level although was empty on the 3 weeks we stayed.

This is a new property, so in excellent condition. Comfortable bed and bedding. We stayed in a deluxe room without ocean view and overlooked a car park, which meant we didn’t use the balcony. Note that bathroom is open and won’t suit everyone. Pool is tiny for size of hotel. Nice rooftop bar but allow very drunk people to dominate the night we went there. The overall service experience is mixed from great to dreadful. Staff who are natural at customer service and those who don’t have a clue. It’s early days so hopefully they will resolve with training. One other note. Parking is expensive at $30 per night. Easy enough to drop luggage and park on the street.

Beautiful new hotel. Sauna had to be booked (inconvenient). Breakfast was very limited for the price. We had chosen the suite with an ocean view, but the bed faced the car park :-(. This was not a great design. Otherwise, a magnificent modern, luxury hotel!

Lovely hotel; however, it was anything but quiet. The local pub down the street kicked on until 2-3am, and the window glazing is paper-thin (Ocean Suite). So much for the advertised 'soundproof room'. Amenities and location were great, but I would not recommend it for a good night's sleep.
