“The 3 storey house is located on theJames riverside. The views are stunning with wildlife in abundance. First time that Ive seen flying fish.The house is spacious spread over 3 floors. All facilities were well kept and there was plenty of towels, laundry and dishwasher liquid, soap etc. Much more thoughtful than most VRBO properties. Wi fi and entertainment good. Only a few minutes from the Scotland-Jamestown free car ferry which we used every day. Excellent service and great way to see the……

“I held my daughters 18th birthday party here, and it was incredible! Plenty of room for hanging out and great for overnight guests (lots of rooms and places to sleep). Beautiful house, inside and out! Lots of things to keep people busy and entertained, but just as many for relaxing. Fantastic stay overall with a wonderful host!!! Would absolutely recommend.”

“My husband, chihuahua and I stayed at the cottage for 4 days while in Virginia. We loved the view of the water from all the windows that allowed natural light in. We watched all the birds and crabs while sitting on the back porch. The location is great for visiting all the Historic areas. We took a segway tour and Ghost tour in Yorktown. We spent a whole day walking around in Williamsburg. Being a history buff my husband really enjoyed it. I even learned a few things. LOL I would recommend……

“No housekeeping service. No microwave. People actually live here. Hard to get help from the front desk when they were around. Half the facility isnt even open.”

“This is a real gem. It is small but very accomodating. Love seeing the families enjoy themselves and seeing everyone walking their dogs. Very friebdly. Wish it hadn’t rain but our daughter still had a great time at the game room and the free ice cream. Wish the ac worked better in the game room amd bathrooms but they were not terrible so I still give them a good review. We stayed in the apprentice cabin and it was very nice and comfortable-exept the queen bed could have used a spring base……

“Extras were a delightful touch, didn't need anything during our stay. Host was quick to respond, location was close to stores and everything we needed.”

“Was able to use the amenities on the resort, as all the workers were so nice. Room was very nice but the overhead shower didn’t work. Luckily had an extra shower head we could use. My best friend and I decided to make this a yearly trip the first week of June so be ready for next summer!”

“Get away from the hustle and bustle of Williamsburg and stay here! A very seamless and quick (free) car ferry ride across the James to get to Busch Gardens and Jamestown. This place is great for families. There is even a basketball hoops the kids enjoyed! Lots of space to move and very quiet and serene. We tried 2/3 restaurants in town, both good. Neighbors were friendly and lots of charm. Amanda was fabulous to work with during our stay.”

“Although the actual camper was not the one advertised, our stay was filled with all the expected amenities Kimberly described. In a previous review someone mentions the rooster, he was quite pleasant, not at all like described in their review. The camper behind ours was closer than I would expect and not in the description, but it was not a total bother, I just adjusted the shades appropriately for privacy. Kimberly & her family were AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY! My 4yo was invited to meet the children,……
