“We had a wonderful stay at Lynn's farmhouse! The house was so cozy and felt like we were staying right at home on the farm. The screen porch was wonderful for morning breakfasts while watching wildlife pass by including many deer. It is a nice location close to town for shops and restaurants. ”

The location was perfect, and the host was friendly and responsive, making our trip stress-free.The only thing that stood out as a downside was the garbage situation. The only thing that was a disappointment was there was no tv in downstairs living/sitting room. There is a tv area upstairs with ample seating and a tv in the master bedroom only. “This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night! Don't worry about packing linens and towels (except maybe a beach towel) as that is all taken……

“We stayed here for 2 nights in August 2025 and really enjoyed our stay at this property. The other reviews are right, the pictures don't do it justice, it's much bigger than we expected. The bedrooms were very clean -- all the bedsheets and pillowcases were clean and smelled freshly laundered. We also appreciate that this property was NOT pet friendly; we hope it remains this way and look forward to returning in the future.”

“We arrived very late but Lisa was excellent at communicating with us on how to check in, etc., so no issue. I had several questions and Lisa was very patient answering those – thank you, Lisa! She had lots of goodies for us - local cider, delicious tomatoes from her greenhouse in the back, etc. There’s a nice covered front porch (we didn’t use it) and a covered back/side porch (we used it for having bf). “We had a lovely time at Olivia House! We were two families traveling with 5 children ages 9-13. The kids absolutely loved playing in the creek and it was nice they could share one big bedroom together. The living rooms were perfect for the kids to have one and the adults have the other. Wanda and her husband were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!”
