Wonderful home in peaceful environment

My family and I had an amazing time at the golden A frame. You can enjoy a peaceful night at the house or on the deck. If you want to venture out there a bunch of exciting things to see or do from hiking to see waterfalls, dinner at firewater with a beautiful water scene as the backdrop, or take a stroll by the lake. It was a relaxing time for all. We are grateful for the memories. The house is beautiful!

Fun weekend getaway

We had a great time! We enjoyed the hot tub. The place could use some dusting and cobweb clean up. And the upstairs bathroom shower head barely put out water. But over all this place worked well for our weekend getaway!

Fall classic

Traveled from Florida to spend time in the mountains and visit family in Maryland. Enjoyed the location and hiking in nearby Deep Creek Lake State Park. The cabin design was interesting and accommodating. I was surprised at how well my dog managed the spiral staircase. A few hard to reach cobwebs were noticed but the weekend escape with my daughter & grandson was a good time. Highly recommended!

The perfect romantic winter mountain getaway- cute, cozy, clean, modern, all the amenities you could want, close to the lake, close to Wisp resort. We had an amazing stay and were so happy to find this wonderful cabin in the woods!

Amazing 🤩

The property is beautiful, has everything you need and very well decorated. It kept the kids so busy they didn’t want to leave (they loved the loft area and the basement level). Lots of extra towels which is a plus. We will definitely be back in the summer!

Nice A frame house in quiet neighborhood with access to the beach area.

The decor was minimalistic and tasteful. Our dog felt welcomed. The hot tub was a nice place to relax after all the water sports, mountain biking and hiking you can do in the area.

So Cozy!

We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! Grilled burgers and steaks on the deck, enjoyed the fire table, and the cozy couches. One day it rained the entire day and we didn't mind one bit! 10/10 Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Such a great spot!

This was my husband and I's second stay at the Golden A-Frame, and this time we visited with our 4 friends. So many great hang out spots are tucked into this place. Board games at the kitchen table and bonfires in the back! So cozy!

Fun little getaway

This house is perfect, we really enjoyed the games, hot tub, and fire pit outside. Everything was clean, pictures are spot on accurate. This is a very charming and very fun home! We’d like to return with a few friends!

Great getaway

Great place to getaway and relax. I only gave it 4 stars because the cobwebs that are on all the beams, window frames and door frames. Otherwise we would stay here again.

Perfect Cabin Getaway

The cabin was just what we were hoping for. We had a great stay with some friends. The hot tub and fireplace were exactly what our chilly and rainy fall weekend needed. The first floor beds are VERY soft so if you are a firm mattress person use the bedroom on the bottom floor.

Wonderful Fall weekend

We loved our stay! The property was perfect for a weekend getaway. You never figured out how to turn on the basement shower. Besides that it was just as shown. An adorable spot.
