“We stayed at Whitney Cottage for about three months in the winter. The cottage is wonderful, and we loved it the moment we arrived. Everything was clean and orderly, and it was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Mark Peterson, our host, is as delightful as the cottage. We received a warm welcome, and Mark was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Lake Harmony is central to everywhere we wanted to go. My husband skied at Jack Frost, which is 10 minutes away,……

“Loved this relaxing retreat with its hot tub and fire place!”

“My friends and I loved our stay here! The house was very clean, very comfortable, and very big, with more than enough space for the five of us (five adults). It had everything we needed and much more, including a game room that I only wish we had had the time to take advantage of. The best part of all is the amazing backyard with a firepit and a creek running through it!”

“The home is cozy feels as if its your own. Clean, stocked with pots, pans plates etc. to be precise all necessary comforts. The deers make it an even better experience, they eat apples out of your hand if allowed from the fence line. We will be back over and over again. A must , must must for adults and kids!!”

“Everything as advertised. Points of clarification: There's no indoor pool at the community center. Why did I think there was one? Who knows. The beach is about 5 minutes down the road and the swimming areas are hilariously small. House was well maintained, but I don't love the memory foam mattresses - but that's more a reflection on me than anything.”

“Booked this property for a long weekend with family. Everything was just as description and photos showed. Weather wasn’t the greatest but the boats the firewood and fire pit the hot tub and fireplace made up for it. We wanted a place to just get away and relax and this place really came through. Thanks Ivy and your team. Oh make sure you like deer because there all around. One little buck would come up on the deck and bang on the door. Not kidding.”

“Great location. old home but it was clean. kitchen needs updating especially utensils. could use a Keurig. bracelets give access to some hotel amenities but not all hotel amenities according to the hotel which meant we couldn't make reservations for some activities that we wanted to do. manager was easy to contact when we had a few issues.”

“Perfect for what we needed”

“Property was great and the nature around us was amazing. The mile walk we did from the house was amazing as we saw a fox and multiple deer and spots to view the beautiful creek. Super relaxing. We had cooler weather in the front end of the stay and 80s by the time we left. Fire place would have been great for the cooler times but we couldn’t get it to light but that might have been us since we aren’t used to propane. Decor was amazing and house was very clean. The communication and response time……

“My family and I had an amazing trip. The condo was updated and clean. Perfect amount of space for a family of 5 and so close to the mountain. A quick drive to restaurants as well, you can’t beat this location! They provided all of the amenities we needed for the week as well. We will definitely be planning another stay!!”
