“Everything you need to be comfortable. Out in nature away from chaos could stay for days if we could.”

“Overall excellent stay. Description of house was perfect. Tiny space was spotless! Outdoor space beautiful. Everything needed was available. Chilly time of year and heater worked great. Decor was so welcoming. Surprisingly quiet for being on someone’s property. Close to town.Bed was very comfortable. Only negative comments I would add is that there were a lot of vehicles on the property and the parking space got tight a few times. My husband backs in well but needed a few k turns…it did get……

“This is our second stay. My husband and I love this house! It is absolutely peaceful. The dogs love it. We like to go to just unplug and spend time together. The only thing missing was a plug for the tub.”

“Just went to decompress and relax and that’s exactly what we did. The bridge was kind of loud but get used to it. The view from the apartment is beautiful . It was nice to go walk down by the little shops along the water. The code to get in the apartment is very long, that was kind of a pain . Besides that, it was a nice place to stay.”

“Place is as advertised. It has great separation of space for living and sleeping. The place is clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. We really appreciated the location and being able to explore downtown Florence simply by walking out the door.”

“This property was immaculately clean with many wonderful touches provided by the hosts. The space was perfect for our family of four and small furry friends. We loved the yard and the flat top grill. We were minutes from the Sweet Creek Falls Trail and Beaver Creek Falls Trail. We also enjoyed nearby Florence - the sand dunes and the carnivorous plants at Darlingtonia Wayside were fun for the kids and adults. We highly recommend this property and can’t thank our hosts enough for generously……

“The accomodations are clean, fresh, and comfortable. The hosts are generous, clearly communicate and respond quickly to all questions. The accomodations are in historic Florence, with easy access to shops and dining. And within a short distance to the beach. I would high recommend this vacation spot.”

“Our 2nd visit to Surf Sounds. A nice and affordable place to stay. We bring our bikes for short 1-2 mile rides on the quiet neighborhood streets. The garage easily fits our car + bike + bike rack. Leslie the owner helped out quickly when the internet went down temporarily. We look forward to our 3rd stay in the future”

“Shower head was not operational like it should have been. Toilet is very lose and wobbly. The big white towels smell like a wet dog. Otherwise the rest of the house was great. You might want to put that the driveway is very difficult if you plan on pulling a trailer and vehicle into, with the sharp turn into the driveway.”

“Right on the beach with great views and very easy to get out to the beach. We had an issue with our keys not working but it was resolved quickly. Place was quiet and the curtains thick enough to block out the light so you could sleep.”
