This property is not at all what the pictures show. There is mold, leaks, duct tape holding things together, paper towels stuffed in crevices, and filthy air units.

The premises was OK. The communication from the host was terrible. I messaged the host multiple times a few days before arriving to get the entry details but received no replies. In the end, I had to ring the host while standing outside the front door in the dark.

Location was perfect. A few things which were disappointing 1. Ants 2. Cockroaches 3. Leaking dining/kitchen when it rained- the floor was drenched 4. ill fitting bedding 5. No bug spray.

Fabulous location

We had seven of us stay in this townhouse. Beds were very comfy, location was fantastic, only issue was there was some TLC required in the bathroom/drainage.

Had everything we needed. Some maintenance issues but it is an old dwelling. Park next door was a bonus. Walk to evening. Enjoyed our stay there.. thankyou.

Brilliant location. Comfortable accommodation

Could not want a better location in Sydney. Great walks in each direction. Loved it. We found an untimed car space near Anderson Park across the bridge. House would benefit with some minor refurbishment but was clean and comfortable.

Such an amazing location in The Rocks . Could walk easily to Sydney’s major icons , and access public transport . A few things that could be improved are …bathroom facilities, clean , but poor drainage , few more bedroom mirrors and a kettle . But would still recommend

Fantastic Location but very basic accom

Location was really great. Easy access to the Rocks and Circular Quay. House was clean but very basic. Not as nice as the photos make it seem. Good as a base but not somewhere you would want to spend much time and very bare minimum kitchen basics. Good spot if you’re planning one being out and about a lot.

In the middle of Sydney and yet quiet

We found this charming little English-style house to be the perfect base for our family to explore Sydney. Quiet, tucked away, close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and the Opera House - just perfect. The only thing we would have liked, as Europeans, would have been a coffee maker or coffee machine and a slightly better equipped kitchen. But thanks to the instant cappuccino and kettle provided, we were able to satisfy our biggest coffee cravings :-). Thank you very much for everything - Great house!

Great location, bathroom lets it down.

We enjoyed our stay, being so close to everything was great with Circular Quay, public transport and multiple restaurants just a short walk away made getting around easy and the kids enjoyed the little playground right next door also. The only thing that let this accommodation down was the bathroom with the shower/bath having mould around it in places, duct tape holding it all together and drainage issues. Everything else was clean and tidy.

The Rocks

The location was absolutely amazing but the property needs some work as it's run down and tired. The tv doesn't work and the shower leaks out of the bath onto the floor. There is no clothes airer, there are no tea towels, a lack of side plates and mugs. There is no storage for clothing in the bedrooms and we felt the front door lock was insecure.

Do not use this place - Stay clear

on arrival we didn't have any check in details, so contacted the owner through the app and she said there was no booking in a her calendar, so I rang and first she said there was no booking then she said it was flooded. soon as she hung up I got cancellation emails saying it was flood damage. but only to arrive at the accomodation and there was a family there already. Stay clear of this place, also the family staying had just canceled due to state of the property

Perfect location

Some negative reviews have been listed with regards to the bathroom and communications with the host. Personally all my questions were answered promptly, and the host was kind enough to let us drop our bags off at the property when her cleaners were in to save us carrying them until check in time. Access details were emailed and watsap'd to me in plenty of time. The house itself is in a superb location for visiting Sydney with lots of options to dine within a short distance. The shower does have a minor drainage issue, but within 10 seconds of turning the shower on you can see the fix the host has applied and provided you allow the water to run where its supposed to there is no issue. If i ever visit Sydney again this would be my first choice of where to stay

Good location and that’s about it

Property manager didn’t provided access codes/checkin process. Communication stopped once the payment cleared. Shower drain blocked and water leaked onto floor. Filthy air conditioners that didn’t work. Smell and some basics missing: cutting board, tea towels, simple condiments etc. not normally one to leave a bad review but this place let down a good trip

Amazing location, poor communication and broken bathroom

The townhouse is in an amazing location and is well quipped with comfortable beds. Unfortunately one of the toilets was not functioning on arrival and with 7 adults it was not ideal. I messaged the host straight away and her response was to use a bucket which is unacceptable. She said she would arrange for a plumber but using a bucket was the last I heard from her over the weekend. The main bathroom separate to the broken toilet also leaks very badly and basically floods the bathroom after each use. Looking at the previous reviews, this has been a longstanding problem. The host was also not great at communicating the check in procedure. Overall, we made do despite the bathroom issues and lack of host support. It is a fantastic location and was comfortable. But I would not be booking to stay again

Absolutely DISGUSTING!!

We did not stay, the property smelt of damp and mould, the bed linin was wrinkled up as if it had been slept in, the walls were untidy with slapped on paint here and there, the bath tub was not finished and had what looked to be a led lining around its edges, There was a mop and bucket in the middle of the kitchen, the beds were uninviting, the cushions were a shad of grey and on the front porch was a bin of sorts filled with dirty linen, This a property in the rocks area of Sydney, so the price was high for two nights, we rang stayz and so far they have not helped much in getting reimbursed, I have not heard from them in three days. The owner is in denial, and I very much doubt we will see our money back. we walked in after a long day of travel, expecting modern, bright and beautiful as presented by the photos and were rewarded with something fa less. If this is the quality that stayz accepts, we will never use this organization again. We ended up paying a further 800 dollars to stay in a hotel close by, which made for a very expensive weekend. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!! IF I COULD PUT NO STARS I WOULD, THE ROCKS AREA THOUGH IS BEAUTIFUL!

DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY

THE PHOTOS POSTED ABOUT THIS PROPERTY DO NOT ACCURATELY SHOW WHAT YOU ARE RENTING. Front door handle barely attached, broken lamps, paint missing on walls or mismatched paint used for touch ups, water POURS out of shower onto bathroom floor. We had to use our bath towels to catch the river of water when showering. Water was dripping from the kitchen ceiling when we arrived. Owner told us she was aware of this problem when it rains. Did not list or make us aware of the issue prior to arrival. Mildew and mold found in places where water leaks. Home smelled like the mildew that is present. Owner did not respond when we reached out to her upon arrival to a wet kitchen floor and dripping ceiling. We chose to find a different rental and only after messaging her again requesting a partial refund did she respond. Said “I know about the ceiling and it’s not rainy today”. When we finally spoke to her on the phone after moving to a different rental she was very apologetic and made us believe she would in fact attempt to make things right. We haven’t received any further communication from her. I do not consider myself a picky or unreasonable person. But when I spend money to vacation with my family I prefer to not spend that time cleaning up water from leaks that should have already been repaired by the owner of the home. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY

Overall very disappointed!

When we arrived to check in at the allocated time of 2pm we were unable to get in as the cleaners had only just arrived which meant we had to wait out the front for an hour before we could get in. Once we were in and had a look around the place that's when things turned bad.... there was a musky smell throughout the whole house, the bath tub was duct taped to try and stop water leaking (which it did not stop) we had no bathmats to soak up the water and the kicker was when we went to use the bathrooms and the second toilet did not flush. Not only did the toilet not flush but someone before us has used the toilet and left it there. When messaged the host her response was I know of the issues as the cleaner just told me and I asked him to leave a bucket. As a group of friends staying in this place - we were not using a bucket to flush the toilet and I advised her I was not cleaning up someone else mess that was already in the toilet. She did send someone to flush the water down the toilet and said she would try and get a plumber as soon as possible. Between Friday and Sunday there was no plumber in sight and very little communication about a plumber coming to fix the issue. On Sunday morning when our checkout is listed for 10am a cleaner turns up to clean at 8:30am and wants to know why we were still there and tried to pressure us to leave early. We were nowhere near ready to leave and we told her to come back at 10am. Overall very disappointed!
