A bit dated, the bed was too soft for my personal taste, they don't always have staff on reception, had to use the call button to check in because I arrived late. The food in the bistro is good and the service also good.

The room was clean and comfortable however, the fridge was warm, one light was falling off the wall, other globes were blown and the usb charger didnt work next ti the bed. Maintenance needs to be stepped up.

Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included but there were no plates or spoons to eat the cereal with and no dishwashing liquid or teatowel to wash up the cups. We went to the restaurant. Great food and service from restaurant and bar staff. As we are elderly found the stairs hard as there is no lift.

We have stayed here a few times. This time though I wasn't happy with a couple of things. The wall near the bed had mould and possible water damage from the bathroom. A couple of times I asked for the manager but never heard from them. One night I had no hot water and when they came in to refresh the room, I thought they would have given us clean towels. I was a bit disappointed that breakfast was only on the weekends. The breakfast pack wasn't all that good.It needs to be refurbished. I can say it's close to shops and transport.

Small but economical and clean choice

When we arrived around 9pm, the door of hotel was closed but there was an instruction telling us to go to the bar next to the hotel. We needed to drag our luggages there and then dragged it back to get in. Would have been better if there is a doorbell or intercom. The location is not far away from the MRT station. It is a small hotel without lift/elevator so you'll have to walk upstair with your luggage. The room is clean and spacious and quiet at night but would get noisy due to the traffic early in the morning. Be reminded, the breakfast offered by hotel is a simple pack with cereal, milk and juice in the room. Having said that, the price is pretty economical so for anyone only needs a place to stay over, it's still a good choice.

Love The Ranch. Only complaint is they need a lift. Seriously, lumping suitcases up flights of stairs is a big issue. Staff were good enough to take care of this. Staff are very helpful and personable. Especially restaurant and bar staff. I would however recommend you consider The Ranch. Pretty close to Rail and Metro system.
