Wonderful view of the bridge and harbour. Coffee shops, restaurants and a supermarket close by. One complaint we had was the sound of trains underneath the hotel, although we did get used to this, and the trains did not run all night. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant had a very limited menu. We did not sample the breakfast buffet but chose to visit restaurants in the area.

Great location and lovely views of the harbor. Was in the corner rooms and was quite hot with the heat. Windows need a good cleaning so that we can enjoy the lovely views. Apart from the noise when the train passes, it was a good and comfortable stay.

I spent 12 nights at the View and it made a wonderful base for my holiday. The location is perfect, right next to the train station and a large selection of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfy and the view was incredible! I stayed on the 10th floor and wasn't bothered by any noise from the trains. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very nice but not quite like the pictures. The area was phenomenal and the staff were great too!! The train is extremely close like less than 5 minutes walking distance, which is super convenient!!

The bed was very comfortable. The room was kept very clean by the staff. There was a bit of noise at night as the trains run directly under the hotel. It wasn’t too loud for us though as we requested a quiet room and were placed in a room on the 12th floor. We also use a white noise app on our iPads at night to help block out any other noise. The room safe was large enough to accommodate all of our valuables including our iPads. The management was very helpful with answering all our questions and provided us with some more coffee and milk when we were low. The night manager was very helpful when one evening we returned and the safe was malfunctioning. He was up to our room and remedied the situation within a few minutes.

Staff were amazing cannot fault them. The train track below was a huge downfall. Could not get a good sleep with the constant train going past. If I had known that there was a track right outside of our room I wouldn’t have booked the stay. The room itself was okay but the bathroom was especially small. We also only had one bath towel provided, not sure if this is policy. The bins provided were not lined with any rubbish bags seemed very unhygienic and I didn’t want to use them..

The room was dusty, not well cleaned. The carpet is disgusting as is the hallway was neve vacuumed the 10 days we have been here. We have a beautiful view of Circular Quay and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The worst part is the train thatbruns every 10 minutes under the hotel. It sounds like loud rolling thunder which makes it impossible to sleep. Its very convenient to the train station but the noise is terrible. The carpet in the hallway down at reception area is worn and disgusting. Id be ashamed to be working for a poorly looking hotel especially since its not cheap.i also booked a 2nd room for 2 nights and my key did not work the 2nd night. I didn't go to the front desk because my husband and i were both very sick with the flu. I just made it back to our room and puked. Front desk told my husband too bad so sad. We haven't left our room for 3 days. We even had to ask the housekeepers to vacuum. Nothing is sanitized while they clean the rooms. There are several stores within walking distance; drug store, food stores (4) 2 are under the road at Greenwood plaza and another drug store there with lots of food options. We also went to Walkers Drs which was affordable and convenient.
