Finding a place to stay in Skaneateles area can be difficult, not many options and many are very expensive. This motel is adequate for a brief stay, clean enough, old fashioned with no real amenities. But it is close to Skaneateles and Auburn so overall it is reasonable.

Outdated is fine, but a cheaper stay shouldn’t mean dirty. The general area looked clean, but surfaces were really dusty, corners in the bathroom dirty. I dropped something and looked under the bed and I regret that, no one’s vacuumed under the beds in god knows how long. This was a super last min trip for me and my long distance boyfriend and safe to say it was a bed to sleep in and leave.

The room was clean but very old. The shower produced no hot water. The only amenities were bottled water and a couple cans of pop that you would pay for at a minimal cost. I had limited interaction with staff but they were very abrupt It wasn’t a bad stay but I wouldn’t stay again.

This is an old-fashioned motel - one floor with parking right in front of your door. We stayed one night for a wedding in the area. The rooms were basic and clean; the bed was comfortable. The price seemed a bit high for what it was, but that may well be because of high demand near Skaneateles on a Saturday night in August. Nonetheless, I'd suggest their considering an update of their air conditioning at some point as it was a windo-type model inserted through the back wall, As such, it didn't turn off all night regardless of the temperature in the room and the temperature it was set for. The temperature was nonetheless fine during our stay and the continual drone of the air conditioner acted as a white noise machine, so it wasn't bothersome to us, but it might be to others.

The motel was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is dated and could use some attention. There were several millers flying around the room, even though we had not been opening and closing the outside door. Okay stay for the price point.

I like the room. It was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well and the room was nice and cool. The refrigerator was wonderful because it kept a lot stuff nice and cold. I even brought a small ice cube tray with me and made ice and it froze nicely. The only major issue I had was when I went to take a shower. It seemed like the hot water was taken a very long time to get hot and it didn’t stay hot but very long. I also lost some water pressure while I was in there and it was only in the shower for about five minutes. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to other others. We were also able to check in before three, which was really nice.
