We had a wonderful romantic stay at this beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views. The sun lights up the place from morning through afternoon, making it the perfect spot to relax. The staff treated us like royalty—breakfast was even served on our balcony, which made for a truly special start to each day. The only thing to be aware of is that the property is quite hilly with steep steps, so if you're uneasy with heights or strenuous stairs, it's worth checking that in advance. That said, we would happily stay here again!

Un endroit magique qui mérite bien son nom - une équipe extraordinaire et dévouée à la satisfaction de ses clients - on ne peut rester indifférent à ce lieu d’exception. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux avec des produits très frais, locaux et faits maison. Merci Alex, notre hôte, pour ces 4 jours qui resteront gravés dans notre périple des Cyclades. A quiet stay with an amazing view!

Service at Wind Tales is top notch. Tonia made our stay so enjoyable. She went over things to do, ordered taxis and cooked the most amazing breakfast. It included eggs, homemade jams from the owner, fresh fruit and delicious yogurt. She even brought local cheese to try. Demetrius was also very sweet, he carried our heavy luggage up the numerous stairs to the guest house as no cars can drive into the town. The room was super clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing. They truly made us feel special.

Very unique property in the incredible medieval village on Ano Syros. My first impression of the village was that of an Escher painting made real. I can assure that you would never find this place accidentally. No matter, Alexis the owner will arrange for a transfer from your arrival point to the entrance of Ano Syros, and then will have an assistant carry luggage and guide to Wind Tales. Fantastic accommodation, considerate owner, incredible view, and special experience. Our only regret is not booking and extra day or two.

Très belle bâtisse et un service premium

Le proprietaire, Alexis, a fait un remarquable travail de restoration, pour redonner vie à cette ancienne bâtisse qui était à l'abandon il y a plus de 10 ans. Les 4 chambres sont bien décorées, toutes différentes avec un vrai sens du detail. L'hôtel est situé en haut de Agio Syros, mais Alexis vient vous chercher à l'embarcadère et transporte vos bagages. Il y a plusieurs centaines de marches pour y arriver. Un taxi revient à 5 euros. La vue sur la baie est magique. Des 4 chambres, il y en a 2 qui ont reellement une vue sur la baie, avec un balcon. Mais la terasse commune est très bien aussi. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel. La chambre est confortable. Excellente douche avec de la pression. Alexis et sa femme vous donne beaucoup d'informations pour profiter au maximum de votre séjour (restaurants, points à visiter, événements particuliers, etc.)

Wonderful accommodations in Ano Syros!

2 short days in Syros and our stay at Wind tales was amazing! Spectacular view! Super quiet and great staff!!! Super easy walk downhill to town for dinner, shopping and beautiful Ano Syros to explore right from your doorstep.

Great Stay

Property is in Ano Syros which is the old upper town overlooking the harbor town of Syros. Great views and private and quiet. Very comfortable room with nice amenities. Breakfast home cooked and served on patio each morning looking down with a impressive view. Walked down many steps next day to visit the harbor town and to rent a car to visit the island. The walk down and back up is not for those whom might be physically challenged though. Our host Alexis was fantastic and takes great pride and care in ensuring his guests have an incredible stay and visit to the island. Sat down with us to show us all the important sights in town and around the island that should be seen. Even helped up with the best islands to visit after leaving Syros. No worries in getting to this property, for they will arrange free pick-up at the port or airport upon arrival with request. Strong staff members even carry your backs directly to your room upon arrival. Attention to detail is there to make your stay special!

Waren nun zum 2. mal dort und sind nach wie vor begeistert. Besonders der Ausblick über Ermoupoli und das Meer von der Terrasse schon zum Frühstück sind ein Erlebnis. Die besondere Harmonie zwischen Tradition und Moderne... Unterkünfte mit Liebe zum Detail und alle sehr individuell eingerichtet. Alexis und sein Team waren sehr um unser Wohlergehen bemüht.
