Lazy Bear Retreat by the Creek

"Nice little cabin that fit the bill for what we needed, plus the location was private and close to outdoor activities. Overall, would’ve been excellent but some of the equipment could’ve used some minor upgrades. The chairs by the fire pit were both broken, half the lights flickered on and off at night, and the kitchen utensils were adequate for cooking. Hot tub was great! Overall, a nice stay!"

"Our family stayed for one night. The home was clean and composed of mountain vibes. The hot tub was an excellent addition to the mix as well. We hiked and searched for waterfalls in the area, as well as trout fished the nearby rivers with plenty of success."

"I tried to put a five star for each question, however the app would not let me select five stars for some reason. We absolutely loved the fire pit, especially my husband and son in law. We all enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was as advertised, clean and comfy. Our host was wonderful."

"This place was wonderful. Even nicer than the pictures show. The lighting and the decor was magical and we had plenty of space for the 2 of us. Everything was there that we needed. The hostess, Bronwen was very sweet and helpful, and we enjoyed meeting her. There is a fire pit, a telescope, (we sat in the back yard one night looking at the stars,) and on a rainy night we sat in front of the fire place. A special bonus was taking advantage of the Salt room. It's a quiet area with beautiful scenery. We plan on going back."

"Overall we were very happy with the house. The pictures are an accurate reflection of what it looks like. Our grandchildren enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and watching football. We did spend a lot of time driving to parks in the area. Food stores are readily available although a lot of the local stores are closed on Sunday. There were 7 of us staying there and we had enough room."
