Stadium District Room With A View

Stay in a beautiful, modern apartment located in Tacoma’s gorgeous , historic Stadium District! The apartment is renovated and fully furnished. It is a studio unit with one bath that sleeps two and has beautiful hardwood floors throughout. There is a small sleeping nook with a queen bed and closet. The kitchen has granite counters, built in dishwasher, microwave dishes and cookware. The apartment includes cable TV, WiFi, heat, linens, towels, games, bike room access and off-street parking. The laundry facility is located just an elevator ride away!

The rental is located a few blocks from Wright Park, the Commencement Bay Waterfront, and Old Town Tacoma. We are also a short distance from Downtown Tacoma and I5. Seattle is 45 minutes away and the Tacoma Mall is about 20. Point Defiance, Ruston Way and Chambers Bay are also pretty close if you want an outdoor adventure. We are extremely close to many great restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and bars, for indoor fun, relaxation, and delicious food! Some gems in the neighborhood are Stadium Thriftway, Ranko's Pharmacy, Art House Cafe, Shake Shake Shake and Indo Asian Street Eatery.

We are looking forward to your stay and hope you love our beautiful city of Tacoma as much as we do. The one downfall of visiting the Pacific Northwest is the constant unreliable weather. We are here to make sure you enjoy your stay, rain or shine!

It is a beautiful historic building in a location close to the water, shops, and public transportation; yet in a quiet neighborhood. The owners are friendly and helpful. The apartment is cute, clean, updated, and cozy! Love this place and will stay here again!

Perfect space

It was just myself staying in the property and it was a perfect location and space! It was updated, nicely decorated and clean. It was quiet, had great natural light and everything you need to stay in Tacoma. It’s also close to everything which is very handy. Lucy was easy to contact and a pleasure to work with. Home away from home

This sweet studio apartment was the best home away from home for me. I was visiting Tacoma after the birth of my first grandchild. I stayed for 3 weeks. My grandson was in the NICU at Tacoma General. This apartment is both an easy walk or drive to the hospital. The neighborhood is lovely. I met so many really helpful people. The host of this property was so caring and helpful during my stay; working around the uncertainty of how long I would be in town and the fact that I had never been in Washington before ( I’m from Maine) Lucy was able to answer all of my questions. The apartment is fully furnished, well appointed and very clean. Highly recommend ! I will be back

Great historic location, Immaculate apartment.

Wonderful 4th floor apartment. Has a view of the historic Stadium High School and water. This is not a true one bedroom, but does have a bedroom nook. Laundry is available on the basement level. Building seems secure. Everything you need is provided, including shampoo, conditioner, soap, paper towels, etc. THANK YOU FOR REAL COTTON SHEETS. These were the best sheets and most comfortable bed we had in our 5 weeks stay across the country. Everyone is using hot hot hot Polyester sheets now and I get it, they are cheap, they take up less space and are easy to clean. But they sleep oh so hot and nothing is as nice as quality COTTON sheets and a bed that won't collapse. lol. My only recommendation is that check in could be streamlined a bit. The elevator is next door and is very clunky sounding but doesn't seem to run at night.

Exactly what i was looking for

I dont have a single complaint. The neighborhood is one of the best in Tacoma. Location is walking distance from a park, grocery shopping, and just about any immediate need. Parking was convenient and included. The view is gorgeous. And everyone in the building was friendly. Lucy made the entire stay easy. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Unexpected visit

We stayed 10 days helping our daughter and her husband recover after a car accident. The location was perfect for us as it is within walking distance to the Stadium Apartments where they live. There’s also a Thriftway grocery store just a couple blocks away and several restaurant options next door and across the street. We also have to give a shout out to the helpful staff at Ranko’s pharmacy for helping me fill some emergency rx’s and even assisting us in making some copies and mailing items for my husbands work. The kitchen at the VRBO was well appointed and we had everything we needed to prepare meals. Even a blender, coffee maker, toaster and a very nice set of pots and pans. And the cutest little dishwasher! The linens were high quality and the towels plush. Hot water and pressure were plentiful. And the view! We enjoyed sitting in the LR in the evenings and watching the water as it changed colors with the sinking sun. Lita and Lucy were most helpful and being aware of our unusual situation we’re so thoughtful I’m asking about how our “kids” were healing. They took what was a very stressful situation for us and made it a bit better by being so flexible and offering kind encouragement. We will definitely be staying here again……for a funner visit next time!!

Nice studio in the Stadium District

Beautifully decorated with a really comfortable bed, this studio is both cozy and perfectly located in a fantastic area with excellent restaurants. Lucy is incredibly helpful—she provided coins for the laundry, arranged for the installation of a portable air conditioner when it got warmer, offered some nice snacks, and pointed out the on-site parking, which is a huge benefit in the neighborhood.

Wonderful place!

This studio apartment is so comfortable and in a great area. It is walkable to several stores and restaurants. We stayed for almost 3 weeks as we were visiting family and our a new grandson and we really enjoyed our stay. Lucy is so kind and helpful and provided us with everything we needed including coins for the laundry downstairs and on site parking which is much needed in this area. We will definitely be back!

Great Place

This was a great place to stay! It was clean, updated, and comfortable. Just enough space for a quick stay with all amenities. Originally being from Tacoma, this is a convenient location for walking or driving to any part of the city. It’s in the heart of Stadium district and the dedicated parking was a plus. The host, Lucy, was very kind and customer centric! Would definitely stay again.

My room was really clean, beautiful decor and had a lovely view of the sound. Lucia is a great communicator and makes you feel right at home! It’s within walking distance to so many great places and you will definitely have to stop by next door to eat at The Art House Cafe.
