The views and environs of this Villa are extraordinary if accommodated on the back of the premises. It is close to both Panglao and Bohol islands by public transport. The food provided on request was excellent and having the place to myself it was peaceful, apart from being woken before 8am by a sound system being used for a seminar in the property's ground floor meeting room immediately below the bedroom. However, the room I specifically reserved was not available on arrival. There doesn't appear to have been any consideration of what was shown as available for booking on-line. I had to stay next door in a small room with poor bathroom facilities and small, dark, basic bedroom, for one night, then pack again to move back. 'Could do better' It was clear they cater well to group bookings and events. Not so much to tourists who seem rather an inconvenience

Couldn't stay as double booked room

On arrival, my deluxe room was double book. Supposed the room was already booked 2 weeks ago then Cheap tickets showed it as available when I booked it 2 days before coming? After a long negotiation, the manager agreed to refund me. But not only I wasted money for the transfer but also time. Literally, my first day was about findable place to stay.

Disappointed

First off, ensure you have cash when you check out, they don't do cards or credit cards because it costs them money to use the machine. We stayed there for 4 nights and 3 nights out of 4, the bathroom toilet bulb blew and I advised the staff on a daily to get it fixed but still nothing. Staff needs education on customer service. First night we stayed there, no one knew how much our drinks where and we only found out after checking out how much they were, and I was talking to them in my language. Mosquito galore! I've stayed there before 5 years ago and it has definitely has gone down the hill since then.

I booked for four days on the third day I was asked to change rooms because a family want it the room, and I was send to a room in another building.

Would rather chew on a wasp

It was ok. Far from beaches. Unhelpful staff. Ants on tables. Staff made us feel awkward. They do not clean the room if you leave the sign on door.

This hotel has seen better days Great location

Located by the edge of the sea, the hotel offered the quietness I was looking for. Old fashioned and basic and in need of money spent on it.
