Not Ready

The host warned us about the tarps on the roof due to storm damage. This was no problem. What she didn’t warn us about was:Washing machine full of unwashed bath towels,Dishwasher full of unwashed dishes,No sheets on one of the beds,Thermostat not functional,Bugs everywhere both dead and alive including in coffeemaker,Cabinets were dirty with what looked like bug feces,Shattered glass in overgrown lawn,One roll of toilet paper in the entire house (3.5 bathrooms).

The house is newly renovated and is basically brand new inside. The full bathroom in each room is super convenient and gives a group of friends perfect privacy. Highly recommend staying here and will book again if we are back in town!

We had a great visit! We were floating the Illinois river and met a couple of friends at the house to stay for a couple nights. Everything was clean and the recent updates were so nice! Very open floor plan which was great to catch up with our friends.nice to be close to downtown and restaurants! It is a newer listing so there aren’t a lot of extras that people have left like spices etc. so be sure and bring that kind of thing if you are cooking. Would definitely stay again!
