Classic old-style Tahoe log cabin, close to Sunnyside Restaurant and Marina. Quaint and cozy for a relaxing Tahoe getaway! Only 800 square feet, this one-story home is located in a quiet setting and is perfect for a couple's getaway or a small family. Nicely decorated in country-modern decor, this home has natural pecky Cedarwood paneling, tub/shower combo, and cozy furnishings throughout. Fireplace has a gas insert, living room has L-shaped couch, DVD player, desk and stuffed chairs. Master bedroom with King bed and vanity dresser, second bedroom with two twin beds. A wonderful weekend getaway, but very basic.

NOTE: There is NO BBQ at this property.

Wonderful stay!

Our group of 4 cousins had a wonderful stay here. The cabin is easy to find, surrounded by a beautiful forest and only a short 15min drive to palisades. Inside is very cute and cozy, and a perfect get away to relax in. Bedrooms get a little cold since the heater is in the living room, but we just left the bedroom doors open while we slept and it was fine. Would definitely go back again!

Plesums House in Tahoe

West Shore is the best shore--honestly. But don't tell anyone. ;) The house is so close to many amenities and beaches. There's so much to do and see. We had a great time. The house is a good size for two-to-four people with one bathroom (the shower head could use improvement--hard to get the shampoo out of your hair with the low pressure). The king bed is comfortable but the fitted sheet kept coming off in the middle of the night because it's older and the elastic is shot. The coffee machine could use an upgrade too--old school Mr. Coffee I think. And the bear precautions (very necessary) are a bit unsettling, but you get used to it. When all is said and done, this is a really nice house with a couple quirks, but in a great area and we recommend it.

Charming cozy cabin in quiet neighborhood. Great to bring bikes and enjoy the scenery and smells of Lake Tahoe. Fun to be close to Sunnyside and little market for cookies and sweets. Great location.

DELIGHTFUL COTTAGE

Wonderful cozy cabin, great neighborhood. Lovely kitchen with table, well stocked & loved the dishwasher! Super comfy sofas & TV, my granddaughter couldn't stop watching "Lassie"! Comfortable beds, very homey decor. Easy drive to downtown & close to many restaurants. We will definitely stay again!

Very comfortable and cozy

Had a wonderful time, it was super peaceful and cozy. I never encountered a Bear Fence before so that was a bit of a learning experience. Was close to the lake and little town area and a quick drive to Tahoe City. Beds were very comfortable and Kitchen had all the essentials.

Nice and cozy, very effective for a ski vacation. Keep the heater on strong overnight as there is no heating in the bedrooms.

Another Great Stay

This was the second time my kids and I have come up to Plesums for Thanksgiving. The place is small enough to be cozy and give us a good sense of togetherness, but had everything we needed to cook up a full thanksgiving dinner! The location is perfect - you can walk to Sunnyside, Firesign, and the West Shore Market, but it's far enough away from the main road to be nice and quiet. We love Plesums!

We had a relaxing visit to our favorite place....West Shore!

We hiked, swam, tried the very shallow Truckee, but road bikes instead and read lots of good books. It was a perfect size cabin for my husband and I, and close to the market and a swimming beach. LOVE TAHOE!

Good place to stay, but needs a deep cleaning.

I really liked the cozy cabin. It had a great feel and located close to everything. I wish it had been cleaner, there were several cob webs that needed to be cleaned before a daughter would sleep in the room. The shower curtain needed to be cleaned or replaced as well. I also wished there was more toilet paper. There were only 2 rolls for 4 people to use for a 5 day stay. So be prepared to buy to bring your own. I wish there were some spare bed sheets for the kids room as they needed to be washed again to get the smell out before my kids would sleep in the beds. I know these are small issues we had, and other than that, this place was great, welcoming, and I would recommend staying again. My kids loved the singing bass on he wall and how it really felt like a cabin in the woods.

Good cabin vibe

The wood materials, as a builder, are very rustic. We liked that the place felt like visiting a family cabin, where simplicity and good quality come together. So many rentals have become like motels these days with fixtures that don't match the style of the area. Not this one. Don't change a thing. Thanks to the owners for the good times.

Cozy Tahoe cabin

Cozy cabin close to Olympic valley . We’ll equipped , although gas fireplace insert in large stone fireplace never worked . This should be fixed, as we were there during peak of winter weather We did Lotsof shoveling over 3 days , to be able to get our cars in and out. We finally got prof assistance on the last night of our stay. But unfortunate I had to plead for the contractor to come by. Otherwise the place was special.
