"The hotel and staff are lovely, the views afforded are alright but nothing special (as you can imagine, all high rise hotels in Osaka have a similar view).
Rooms were clean and service by the cleaners impeccable, I can't fault them at all.
Where I struggle to justify ever staying here again is its value for money- this room costs more than double a similar sized one in a similar spec hotel will, but for what reason? There did not appear to be any laundry valet, mobile ordering for service items, i.e rentals (I did see the option for food however) and in general, as nice as the room and view was, it was no better than other 4-stars I have stayed in through the Umeda area.
The elevator system is clumsy at best, and during busy periods (check in & check out) the elevator wait can become significant due to the building design.
The closest station is Yodoyabashi Station, which is convenient but again, why wouldn't I just save the money to stay in a room with better amenities & access and need to catch the subway from Umeda Stn instead?
Something especially concerning was the addition of security barriers at the lobby to stop guests from stealing bathrobes and nightgowns... it makes you wonder what clientele the hotel group has attracted and again is off putting considering the price paid.
There was quite literally nothing special about the hotel nor services that warrants the price-tag, and as such I wouldn't stay here again."
