“Wow. A great property with the most beautiful view. 270 degrees of Dogwood Harbor. Great privacy and solitude. Wonderful space with powerful AC even in 90+ degrees and humidity. Maria was a very responsive host answering questions within minutes of me contacting her. Her recommendations were spot on. We spent time on the river, at great museums, and a delicious food. I would highly recommend this place for a couple that wants a wonderful weekend away from the rat race.”

“Beautiful, private setting, but not far from the town of St. Michaels. House was very clean and beds were comfy. The kitchen was very well equipped for preparing meals. We really enjoyed relaxing in the screened in porch and on the Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. There was so much wildlife to view: bald eagles, herons, tree frogs, crabs…We had a great time! “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The Maghee House was bright, well appointed, up-to-date and very comfortable. We rented the home because it was on the water and had a nice dock to launch our kayaks. The area on Harris Creek was beautiful for kayaking. It would have been nice to have some empty cabinet space in the kitchen for our food items and some shelving in the primary bath for toiletries.We would definitely stay at the Maghee House again!”

We appreciated the cleanliness of the house, lots of pillows, blankets towels - if needed. Beds were comfortable. Loved the history of 1850 T. Blade house. Although the furniture suited the era, a couple of pieces should be replaced or restored. I saw previous reviews for concerns of floorboard safety in upstairs bedroom, again realizing it's an 1850 house.……
