The place was clean, comfortable, and within easy walking distance of the beach. Victoria, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. What really made our stay special was the breakfast. Unlike typical hotels with buffet-style breakfasts, Victoria personally asks you what you would like to eat and prepares it for you. It truly feels like you are staying in a family……

“Fridays Puerto Galera is a beautiful private island resort, and that privacy is the main reason to stay here. The setting is peaceful, the beach is beautiful, and being separated from the mainland makes the entire stay feel much more secluded than a normal beachfront hotel. It is a great place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the surroundings without crowds or traffic. The tradeoff is convenience. “It didn’t feel sanitary, the sink was backed up, the key wouldn’t open the door after we returned from dinner and it took a very long time for them to reprogram it, the “Mountain View” room actually was an alley view of rooftops and stray cats. Cross this place off your list. The free breakfast was a limited menu that could only be eaten by a local. Every option had dried fish. My girlfriend’s eggs weren’t even cooked all the way and were slimy albumen.”
