“The stone hut is a very unique VRBO with amazing views and a convenient location near Talkeetna. There was 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but unfortunately the downstairs bathroom had plumbing issues while we were there. The host was aware and actively working on fixing it, so hopefully it doesn't impact any future guests. My only note is the spiral staircase being a little precarious and that is likely why little kids are not allowed to stay at this property. The host communication was good and if……

“Really cute place in a great location. Unfortunately we had bad weather & our flightseeing tour was cancelled, but it was nice spending the cold rainy day inside the cute little cabin. The hot tub & sauna were a great addition too. Wish there was a bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms, and no microwave was a little inconvenient, but overall it was a great stay.”

“This is a wonderful cabin right outside of Talkeetna. The neighborhood is rural and everyone is friendly. The hot tub is a shared community space, and there is a camera on it, which I found uncomfortable, so we chose to not partake in that amenity, but the cabin itself is a perfect cozy getaway, well-kept, and super clean. The hosts are lovely and provided excellent communication before, during, and after our stay! Would absolutely return for the cabin experience again!”

“Property was swarming with mosquitos, you could not stay outside. We had to carry bug spray with us when we went from the cabin to our truck and back again to the cabin. Had to spray around the doors so the mosquitos would not follow us into the cabin or truck. And the WiFi did not work so the was no TV to watch inside. It's a nice secluded are and the cabin was nice inside. I don't know if there is a better time of year to visit this area.It was close to Talkeetna which was where we wanted to be.”
