Silver Birch Vacation Rental

This elegantly crafted Alaskan home offers an inviting space to relax and recharge, and is the perfect location to base your adventures from. Silver Birch has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and is nestled in a private birch grove. The edge of the Alaskan wilderness is right at your doorstep. Large view windows and a timber frame wrap around porch enhance your experience, allowing you to enjoy Alaska even on your days in. A charming fireplace in the living room creates a cozy space to gather, and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and spacious dining room provide all the comforts of home. Radiant in-floor heat throughout ensures you'll be warm and comfortable any time of year.



Conveniently located with just a short 10 mile drive to Talkeetna and only 3 miles to the grocery store. Halfway between Anchorage and Denali National Park (about 2 hours drive to either destination), you'll have central access to the area's attractions and activities.

Jen was wonderful, especially directly answering any questions we had. The home the sparkling clean and met our needs for our 2 day stay.Just a few suggestions - small bedroom lamps on nightstands would be a nice addition to ceiling light, and bathroom vanities w/space for toothbrushes along w/door hooks for towels/robes.The location was so perfect for getting into town for our glacier flight & floatplane flight. The little town was bustling & fun on our 71 degree days - how perfect.

Wonderful home with great access

This home was close to Talkeetna but also convenient for breaking up the drive between Denali and Anchorage. We were accommodated when we asked for a slightly earlier check in even though we ended up not coming until the original check in time.

Awesome!

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. It is a well decorated, well equipped, well cared for home that has a very cozy feel to it. It had absolutely everything we needed for our 3 generation stay of 7 people. We ate at the nearby Denali Brewing one night where they happened to have live entertainment and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great in every way!

Visiting from Michigan my wife and I stayed here with my daughter and son-in-law from Anchorage. The house was nicely furnished and comfortable. It was also well stocked.The setting in the woods was tranquil, and it wasn't far from Talkeetna. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

Beautiful private house in natural setting

Spacious and clean three bedroom house. Beautiful setting with no nearby neighbors. Nicely decorated. Easy check-in and stay without any issues. A wonderful experience we would definitely book here again.

Way better than we expected

Pulled up, got in no problem, very cleaned. Looks brand new. Everything inside was perfect. A lot of unexpected extras. I like paper towel toilet paper, laundry detergent. Dish soap coffee creamer full kitchen. If we knew how nice it was there and some of the cool attractions in the area, we might have stayed there a little bit longer. Definitely a surprise and a welcome one. I would recommend this place to everyone and if I come back.We'll be staying again

We booked here for a short stay on our way from Anchorage to Denali. Talkeetna turned out to be a very nice stop. This home was perfect if you're in the area. We were a 3 generation group of 6 and this met our needs well. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped, and location was private, but not remote.
