「The blinds were so thin you can see inside the rooms. The door had no locks from the inside. Ants were always everywhere even at dinner time. Only one sweet lady who did an amazing job running the entire place and it seemed like I was the only one there at the time. This spa is not a good place too stay. Not even an iron or air conditioner was in the rooms at all either and list goes on. Stay away!」

「They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!」

「This was our second time staying here and we love this place! Staff is very helpful, and made the effort to communicate with us, using our very limited Spanish. Trees and flowers are beautiful here. Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. We love staying in this place and know that the staff takes great pride in keeping the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and providing excellent service.」

「The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful with suggestions of activities. A tour company is on site which makes planning extremely easy. Car rental is also on site. I would stay here again.」

「This quaint hotel is just minutes from the airport - super safe - and much care has been put into the design and decor. The restaurant dinner was excellent, and reasonably priced. Overall, we felt like we were valued customers, with excellent service all around.」
