Lay back, chill out and relax with your mates in this welcoming 3 bedroom house. Enjoy your day playing basketball and your nights in front of a cozy warm fire pit under the stars. There’s even a bush track to the famous witches falls, not even a minute walk from home. If you’d like to go for a run in the morning, then you’re in luck, There’s an amazing view only 1km away from home.

It was a really cosy place to stay the night, it was nice and quiet and only a quick drive into the heart of town to grab some food and really close to some good hiking trails! :)

Nice clean house. Kitchen equipment like saucepans and cutting knives needs to be replaced with decent new items.

Action required

We enjoyed our stay because of its location which was convenient for an event we attended. The kitchen was totally lacking in things such as dinner plates (only 5 for 8 people) and other tableware, serving bowls for salad, pasta, etc, no saucepan large enough to cook a curry or pasta, no kettle, no microwave containers, no dishwashing liquid, an extra shelf needed in the fridge and ice-cube trays, no tongs for serving, no salad serversand other utensils such as a colander or large strainer, cooking oil, plastic wrap. The bathrooms had nowhere to hang clothes while showering, the downstairs bathroom shower had to be tied up as it wouldn’t stay up, no bench or table to put things on, no shelf for shampoo,bodywash containers in both bathrooms, only one towel per person, no handtowels or towelling bathmats, only one facewasher for 4 people. A light blanket for each bed would be appropriate. A kitchen chair was broken, not by us. Twin bedroom needs a bedside lamp. If these and other glaring deficiencies are addressed it will make staying in this property a much happier experience.

The property was a great size and close to everything. We only had a one night stay but the property had everything we needed to accommodate us for night. The property was well stocked with the essentials and even an air fryer which was perfect for what we needed. Would definitely love to stay again

It’s a nice place, the kids liked the peaked “attic” roof in their bedroom. Beds and linen were lovely. Good location with quick access to walking trails wineries and other attractions

A stunning piece of serenity

This property is exactly what you think of for a lovely and well taken care of house on a mountain. Convenient location to surrounding bush walks and shops. The property owners were excellent with providing assistance and communication.

Great little escape

The property was clean, tidy and we loved how convenient it was for shops and activities. We were only there one night but would definitely return for longer next time if it was available. It's spacious and clean, access was easy, really great.

Cute, clean compact accommodation that was very enjoyable to stay at. Notes for improvement - Lounge suites were somewhat uncomfortable. Main bedroom could do with bedside tables and lamps.

Peaceful property in tranquil surrounds

Easy arrival at this clean and welcoming home. Our hosts kindly providing all necessary essentials for our short stay. A comfortable place to rest and play (thanks to the basketball ring) yet close enough to visit the sights of the Gold. Would love to return and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

A Cute Cottage with plenty of room

We loved this mountain cottage. Lovely, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and the entrance to the beautiful Witches Falls walk only a couple of doors down. The hosts were lovely leaving some food supplies for us and efficient with their communication. There is so much to do at Tambourine. Would love to stay again.
