Lakefront Villa with Heated pool and Spa

Summary:

Conveniently located.... Tranquil lakefront 4 bedroom home. Spacious covered front porch lanai and POOL overlooking the canal. Check out the lake in one of our kayaks. You can also bring your own boat as it is a ski lake. Fenced back yard.



Each bedroom has a 43" wall mounted TV and the family room has a 70" wall mounted TV. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals and drinks. You just bring the food. We provide all linens, towels, Pool/beach towels.



The Space:

The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo/conditioner and body wash. We want you to enjoy your vacation and know you will our home. We have thought of everything so you can simply relax and enjoy your time!



Convenient location with all the amenities for the best vacation! Restaurants and shopping are also close by. The home is located minutes to the Hard Rock Casino, Busch Gardens & the convention center. Disney World is an hour drive. Area beaches are 20-60 minutes depending on which beach you choose.



Guest Access:

Private pool and fully fenced backyard. Lake access from yard. Explore on one of our kayaks



The Neighborhood:

Lakefront neighborhood and our home is lakefront. There is a community park. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is less than a mile from the house. Busch Gardens is 5 minutes.



Getting Around:

I’d recommend a car. Although Uber’s are convenient.

I tried contacting the host two separate times while i was there and i never got a response back. When we arrived the hot tub was uncovered and was dirty and was very low on the water level. The pool was stated to be heated which it was not heated . The host only provided one roll of paper towels for our 3 day stay.

Host was friendly and responsive; 5 stars.Property needs work: kitchen is bare, oven needed a thorough cleaning. Not enough cutlery for all guests. Floors need good cleaning. Dust un many areas, decoration, vents, etc.Back yard was in dire need of some TLC; photos did not resemble yard at all. Kayaks were abandoned, leaves needed to be blown, bushes trimmed and grass along canal needed a to be cut and fence cleared of weeds. Front yard also needs trimming.The photos do not match property ... It has potential but for the current state, it's way overpriced.

The stay was good. But there are a few things that would have made the stay better. The house was very clean and nicely decorated but there was not really enough furniture for a house that sleeps 10 people. Also, the bushes out front at the entrance of the Lanai were very overgrown and it was hard to walk into the house without getting all caught up in them. The back patio was nice, and the pool intriguing, however, there are no railings on the pool and I was unable to use it because the steps down were far from the top and I have bad knees. I was very disappointed to say the least. The bedrooms do not have any storage, or dressers. Only closets but no where to put your suitcases. The closet did not have hangers either. So, just some small changes would make it better for those that need a bit more storage and accessibility.

Honest review

My stay was overall a good experience with a few exceptions. The lawn care was not up to par, very high grass and unclean pool at first. We woke up the next day and the pool was cleaned! It scared me of the upkeep of the interior, which was the total opposite.Very nice inside with comfortable beds! We had 8 people total with two families combined, so only having 2 full bathrooms were a little tough at times but we made it work! That’s not on the host though, I knew I booked a place with 2 full bathrooms but just want others to be aware for future reference. Speaking of the bathrooms we all took showers everyday and the water never ran cold!That was a plus! Even with a washer and dryer going everything worked smoothly. Needed detergent and the host brought some by the house so that kinda made up for the fact I asked multiple times about late check out because of a flight but never really got an answer until the night before. Wish communication could have been better with that but he was nice and attentive beside that! I would recommend this place and stay again minus a couple things but nothing is always perfect and he was nice and respectful and we respected his home so I would recommend! Oh and location was pretty good for me. We did Chris brown concert, top golf, indoor skydiving, casino, Busch’s gardens and many other things and I say the furthest we had to drive was the airport which was 27 minutes because of traffic! Thank you again for allowing us to stay!

Host was easy to communicate with and the neighborhood is very quiet. House was clean and host provides starter items (i.e., coffee, s’mores pack, a few bags of chips, paper towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper). It’s about a 20 minute drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Overall excellent weekend!

Pool was so warm and nice!

Great communication from property manager. Place was nice and in a quiet neighborhood. There was even some snacks/goodies and household supplies for us to use. These really helped make the trip easier. Very close to Busch Gardens! We would stay there again when we are in the Tampa area.

Great pool, the rest is so-so

We are a family of 5 (3 kids), stayed at the peoperty for 5 nights during winter break.What we liked:The pool was great, warmed up to perfect temperature and big enough. Tree leaves keep falling down on it so I had to spend a few minutes every day to clean it up. Hot tub looks ok but we did not use it.Kitchen is ok, relatively newer than the rest of the house and equipped. There are washer and dryer which is helpful for long stays.What can be improved:Property is dated and needs some TLC, Bathroom especially. Cleanness is an issue - the entire house feels dirty, bathrooms included, linenes are stained.The neighborhood looks shady, I guess it is not the best area of Tampa... nothing actually happened but there are police sirens frequently and it just feels like it is not an area you want to go out at night.Host communication is not great, there were several occasions where I did not get a response.The pool guy showed up one day unannounced while the kids were in the pool, which was unpleasant.Overall we had a good time at the pool, but I would not recommend this property if you are looking for a nice house to stay indoor and enjoy the house itself and the surroundings.

Nice spot for our family, but...

My family was in town for a rugby tournament and stayed at Tom's VRBO house. The home was lovely and had just what we needed for the stay, which for my children was a pool and hot tub. After the first night though I noticed the house was not staying cool and the temp throughout the day got pretty warm. I reached out to Tom and he was very responsive and had a company over that day to fix it. However, the AC issue continued. We Luckily the evenings were cool enough that we could be outside, or open the windows, but sleeping at night was difficult as the house was warm. Tom was responsive, however it was a little frustrating that we did not have AC for our entire stay.

Week in tampa

Tom’s home is easily accessible and convenient to a lot of local Attractions. The number of bedrooms worked perfectly for our family. It was also super nice to have been provided some of the essentials to start paper towel, laundry and dishwasher pods as well as some simple snacks and a snore kit. The kids loved having both a hot tub for the cooler mornings and evenings as well as a pool, it’s also great to have some sun shade in the backyard. The only downfalls were central air system did not work while we were there the temp in the home was about 78 which was warm for sleeping even with the fans on. We were not able to cook outside on the grill as there was no propane. Overall it was a lovely little spot and worked well for our family.

We have a list of issues with this property. Dishwasher not functioning properly Grill not functioning properly Front burner not working at all No light over stove Back yard in desperate need of mowing, raking and trimming also removal of junk and hornets nests Light not working in hot tub Back door difficult to lock The inside was very clean, had an abundance of towels and enough space for all of us. The washer and dryer are very nice. For me being a premier host means having the property clean and fully functional. When on vacation who wants to be interrupted for a serviceman. There wasn’t just one issue there were several. The actual lake was down the channel.

Would Stay Again

The house was clean and a nice location on a canal. This was a business trip with 3 other colleagues so I can only speak to my experience but the house was great. Large enough we each had our own space. My bed was soft and comfortable. The pool was a nice option but we did not use it. However some of our party did enjoy the hottub. The owner was great at communicating. We did have a few issues getting the door locks to work and we did need to unplug a couple of air fresheners as they were over powering. It also would have been nice in the bedroom off the laundry room if it would have a chair and table in there. But overall would definitely stay here again.

It was a very enjoyable stay and property. Some things to consider would be to have checkin instructors be accurate...for example they are very specific about disarming alarm...but then i kept trying and called prop mgr and she said they dont use ot. Add hangers in rooms, mirrors in all rooms. Left front burner does not work on stove. Chip clips would be helpful. There were some cockroaches and bed bug spray made us a bit nervous. Overrall it was clean and cute. Appreciate all the checkins from owner.

Great House for a Family Trip to Tampa!

My family and I had a great time during our stay. Tom was in communication with us the whole time and texted to make sure we had everything we needed. Pros: The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, there was a small rollout bed as well as a high chair and pack n play to use. It was awesome to have extras like a roll of paper towels, Keurig coffee/ creamer/sugar, and supplies to make s'mores. We were able to enjoy the pool and even tried fishing in the canal with my oldest daughter. The location was close to many things. We were able to do things with my daughters during the day, and then take my mom to the casino at night. Cons: We really didn't have any cons. The house offered everything we needed for a great mini vacation. Two things I would offer as an improvement suggestion for the future would be to trim the pothos vine back off the playground equipment. My daughter didn't want to play on it because of the vines. And maybe have a cleanup of the landscaping in the front and back.

Nice house. Great Tampa location.

House was in the perfect location for us. House is nice and roomy. Just want to mention a few things: Listing states heated pool and hot tub, pool was not. Didn’t stop us from enjoying it though! The house has no bureaus and NO hangers or hooks! No way to hang your clothes. There are rods in closets but no hangers. I purchased my own hangers so I could hang things. Closet in my room had no doors so had to look at my clothes and suitcase the whole time. No hooks in the bathrooms. Not sure where we were supposed to hang wet towels, bathing suits, etc.
