“We had an absolute blast over Memorial Day weekend! The house was the perfect getaway — peaceful, relaxing, and full of little adventures. The pier was a highlight for us. We caught 3 stingrays, 2 eels, fish, crab, and even oysters — such a fun variety that kept us on our toes!It was also such a treat to bring our dogs along and include our fur family in the fun. We enjoyed dinner every night in the screened-in patio and sipped coffee each morning on the upstairs deck — just the kind of relaxing……

“Exactly what we were looking for! Indoor stove ready to go upon our arrival. Very cold weekend but the stove works really well to keep it warm inside. Gas grill outside. Everything you need to do basic cooking inside. Would absolutely stay again!”

We had amazing water tours, walked, relaxed, spotted more birds than we could count. Everyone on the island was beyond friendly. “Smith Island is remote, isolated, and a 45 minute ferry trip from Crisfield on lower Maryland's Eastern Shore.The house was recently renovated. It is very well furnished and equipt. Chris has a detailed handbook about what to expect on the island with names and phone numbers for residents who can provide services and give tours including the listing for the ferry boats. He is an engaged, conscientious and outstanding host who quickly and thoroughly responded to our questions. As a waterman……
