"This was a comfortable, relaxed, quiet atmosphere with beautiful well kept grounds. Of course, everything in the central part of Taos portrayed the "southwest" style including this property. Location is excellent by being in walking distance of the Plaza, shopping and restaurants. We will definitely keep El Pueblo on our "stay at" list on our next trip to Taos."

"Was very surprised to show up here and have it look the way it does because it looks nothing like the photos online - there is no cute cabin or air streams, it’s just the motel. It’s in a pretty sketchy area with no where really to walk. The room itself is small but clean and good enough. The AC unit is super loud and turns on and off all night so didn’t get much sleep. Just think they should be more upfront with how the property actually looks."

Fireplace did not work. 6. Very noisy refrigerator. 7. Only one mirror in room. 8. No phone in room. 9. No microwave in room. 10. Out-dated TV with no movie channels. 11. No hair dryer in room. 12. Not adequate counter space in Bath. 13. Not enough towels or towel racks in Bath. 14. Required full payment up front. 15. Unreasonable cancellation policy. "

"Staff and room were both excellent. Restaurant is on site. The hotel fronts a main road with a traffic light directly in front of the hotel. Traffic is very noisy accelerating from the light, especially for a room close to the road. Take earplugs."
