Happy visit to Tarascon-su-Ariege

GREAT LOCATION, right in town, and good for excursions in the car to Foix / others. Host and Hostess very nice, very large bedroom.

Olivier is a wonderful host and Belle Occitane is a wonderful, welcoming, beautiful, comfortable home away from home. We particularly appreciated the spacious apartment (traveling by motorcycle makes for lots of gear), the onsite garage, the fabulous bedding, the sumptuous breakfast and the lively conversation. Thank you for a terrific stay.

The best place to stay in Tarascon. A maison d'hotes- table d'hotes. Big suites and big comfort. Genial hosts. The petit dej is outstanding with homemade everything. Located in center but calm at night. Park free on street in front. Recommendation top!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and quiet and very clean. We arrived in town during torrential rain and were surprised by the host’s dinner offer on the premises. It was a superb meal! Breakfast was included with the room and again, the choices were amazing. Homemade yoghurt, jams, cakes and pastries were the stars, accompanied by local bread, cheese and ham. We highly recommend Hotel Belle Occitane and plan on returning in the future.

We wanted to come early to Tarascon-Sur-Ariege and explore the area and have some dinner. Unfortunately we had some problems with the car in Andorra and didn’t arrive until 23.30. We called the host who told us no problem and waited up for us until we arrived. The place is very charming and authentic, and the host is fantastic! Lots of self-produced jam, marmalades and cakes for breakfast. We would have loved to stay at Belle Occitane longer, but had to leave early to catch a plane. I hope we one day can come back.
