"In August we booked for a 3 night stay in November as part of our honeymoon tour of SEnegal. We booked and paid for a superior double bungalow. On arrival they had no record of our booking but I was able to verify booking by showing my booking details and receipt on my phone. They told us that we could have the booked room for one night only as it was booked for someone else for the second two nights. They offered us a basic cabin and this is what we accepted as we did not want to take the room...

"This Hotel has definitely seen better days and is in need of renovation. The staff at the restaurant was deceitful. I asked if breakfast was included in my rate and they told me it was. The breakfast was terrible, but heck, it was free, or so I thought. Turned out it wasn't, so I ended up paying quite a bit for the worst breakfast I had in Senegal. There is a bakery behind the hotel that serves a really good breakfast. Go there instead. Would I stay here again? There are not many decent hotels in St. Louis, but I might check out some of the other places nearby. I would be shocked if they were actually worse..."
