“After booking I received an email stating that I needed to check I by 17:30 otherwise there was an extra 20€ charge. I specifically made sure I was booking a room with a microwave, but when checking in the receptionist said twin rooms don't have kitchen, I had to show her the description on hotels.com staying a kitchennete and she was able to give me a 1 bed apartment, as I needed somewhere to cook my food. There is not a freezer as described. The attachment to hold the shower head was broken……

“La casa es igual que en las fotos, el sitio muy bonito y tranquilo, tiene el parque natural a lado de casa y caminos que van bajando por la playa aunque a la vuelta cuesta mucho subirlos está muy bien, los propietarios viven al lado y son muy atentos. Yo y mi pareja lo pasamos genial!”

“It’s a very beautiful property with a great location. I would highlight that 2 of the rooms on the top floor and the room on the ground floor doesn’t have Air conditioning which in very hot days makes it difficult to sleep even though it has a fan on the ceiling. Also the facilities on the ground floor, the bathroom is exposed (no doors) - has no privacy which is very odd, if you are spending days with family or friends. Everyone had to use the other bathrooms in the house. The outside garden……

“I booked this apartment because of the photograph showing the view and it did not disappoint. Located about 15 minutes walk out of the centre of Tarifa in a quiet area and 5 minutes walk to the most magnificent beach. The apartment is spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. The view from the balcony and huge window is spectacular, looking out to the whole bay across to the Straits of Gibraltar and Morocco and almost the full length of the beach. The sunset every night was captivating and……

“The apartment was small but functional. The biggest surprise was how shut down the city was for the time of year. There were no restaurants open within several miles even though the listing and online searches would show they are open. Zahara (the closest town) had very little open, as well. We had to drive to Barbate to find open restaurants and grocery stores most days. The property manager was responsive, although the person that handled the checkin was not able to communicate outside of……
