"They are berbers and I received generous warmth and welcoming even during my 1 night stay. It was tranquil and calm with the date palm that lived for more than 200 years, beautiful peacocks walking freely and a cozy room! I slept like a baby! Even though, it was quite isolated but i really did enjoy my stay there and regardless communication break down with the staffs but their warmth gesture speak louder than words. "The property is huge as it is an entire apartment , and the beds are comfortable , with the spare bedding for winter. There is also the use of a shared washing maching and a great rooftop to look out from or hang washing.. The front desk is not 24/7 although im sure if you phoned someone would answer, eventually.., The place could really do with a good deep clean and a revamp entirely, as it does have great potential with a few caring touches. The center of the property is a winter garden...

"We arrived late (@11pm) by car. We were tired, hungry, and just plain worn out! As soon as we arrived we were immediately helped with luggage and shown to our room. The kitchen had already closed but the manager made us a plate with bread, olives, and salad with a bottle of wine! It was fantastic! The house we rented was so clean and comfortable with a small kitchen and living room. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was so friendly. I would highly recommend this beautiful property! Our only regret is that we did not stay longer! *Just a note... don't use Google maps..use Waze! Otherwise you will be driving through every back alley in the town to get to the property! Haha..lesson learned! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Nicole "

"This property is beautiful and isolated, about 8 kms outside Ourzazate. It's set beautifully but star gazing might be the only thing that you could do around here in the evening. Staff is friendly and helpful. We did have 1 room that had heat issues (December time and heater didn't work) but they shifted us to a bigger room. Water was heated and the room heat was sufficient. Great beds and the comforters were thick and heavy keeping us warm. The staff got up early and served us breakfast before sunrise at 7:45 am as we were headed to Merzouga that morning."

"We found Dar Bladi on hotels.com after a long day of driving. It is not easy to get to by car as it is a bit out of the city and the roads are not well lit however, the place itself is lovely and the staff even more so. The room had water and some fruit waiting for us and they even brought us some tea and biscuits not to go hungry till dinner. Room was very spacious. The hotel offers dinner (set menu only) which is the reason we went out for dinner. "
