"This spacious property was a converted old French farmhouse with fantastic views across the countryside. Very rural -but not easy to find even with Sat-nav.
Pool was a great asset as were the trees and flowers around the property. Unfortunately we were not blessed with good weather apart from the first couple of days. Ticks all the boxes for a group vacation and the host Jan is very quick to answer and handle any requests . Her house manager Veronique is also a joy ! Can’t wait to return !!!"

"Very private and relaxing stay the Pictures of the terrace do not do it justice and we had fantastic weather and so made the most of the pool which is in the sun all day. We would definitely return again the only thing I would mention is the bedding and mattresses could do with an update. Thanks for your hospitality!"

"Our three week stay at Mandarou was a wonderful opportunity to remember that it’s the sights, sounds, and scents of the countryside that provide the best opportunities to relax and enjoy every moment of life.
Exploration of the bastides, many within 30 - 90 minutes of Mandarou, provides many opportunities to explore the history of the area.
Bike rides and walks through the many quiet country roads was a highlight of our visit, with something new spotted around every corner.

"Sylvaine and Patrick were generous and helpful hosts, Patrick helping me with a puncture and Sylvaine giving us home-made jam, garden tomatoes and eggs from her own chickens. During a heatwave, the interior was always cool and the pool was large, clean and indispensable after a day of adventures. It’s hard to imagine a lovelier gîte, or nicer people."
