"This was a family vacation and the biggest perk was that everyone had their own bathroom and bed. House is older, but in great shape and clean. It was a hot week, so glad they had fans. Kitchen for that many was small, but we made it work. Great location with lots to do within an hours drive. Great amenities at Golden Bell main campus and surprisingly quiet for it being next to other homes in the area. Thank you for a great spot and we encourage other large families to use the home!"
"The view from the cabin was absolutely beautiful with so many cute chipmunks and hummingbirds hanging around! The cabin itself was nice, and the hot tub was a nice touch- I highly recommend getting in it at night to see the stars! The weather and temperature was amazing, especially coming from Texas where it seems to be hot all the time! The only down falls to the cabin were the bathroom and the driveway. The bathroom was pretty small and had a low hanging ceiling in the middle of it. And the driveway was a pretty steep incline of straight gravel making it very hard to get to the top. Unless you have AWD or 4WD, you’re not gonna make it up and you’ll slide all over the place. And the only other thing- which is something that the owner of the cabin can’t control- is the road to get to the cabin. It’s a mix of red dirt and gravel, and it is VERY rough and graded horribly. I highly recommend coming in an SUV or a truck and not a small compact car.But overall, our stay was great and the owner was very nice!"
Forest cabin on 4 acres, Newly renovated, Quiet and secluded.
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay this weekend. Place was clean and Angela the host and her daughter were amazing. They left us warm cookies and a personalized note. There are a few things as with any house that need some attention. I think the listing said it sleeps eight but it there was only one twin bed, sleeping seven. In the master bath the right side sonk drained really really slow. They need new tents on the gas grill because the other ones are disintegrated. The one thing that needs attention immediately is the floor vent covers. They slide right off leaving a hole in the floor. Someone is going to slice their toe or sprain and ankle. The vent covers need replaced with actual vents. With all that said, it really is a great place and I would recommend it."
Cabin at Sportsman’s Paradise- Anglers’s Dream & Mountain Retreat.
10/10 Excellent
"The property was beautiful and the cabin was very clean and was fully stocked with many items. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds on the back patio and loved that there was a direct access to ATV trails."
"This was so beautiful! We were concerned about the drive being a little further out from our planned activities in the Colorado Springs area, but it was worth the few extra minutes!!! What a peaceful spot. It was perfect for our family and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us. It was the perfect home away from home."
Rock Rest Eco-Cabin on 2 acre forested lot. Mins from Wolf & Wildlife Sanctuary.
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin is very cute and very accessible and close to a lot of things. You can visit the Wolf sanctuary which is so close to the cabin. The cabin has a great 2 person swing on the front porch which is great for naps or on a hot night to sleep outside. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need. The shower has a really cool rock made floor. The bedroom is good size and has a cute little patio with 2 chairs and a table perfect for your first cup of coffee or a cocktail or two.Cynthia the host is a very nice lady and also very responsive. Overall our experience was great.Patty Romero"
