“The cottage was wonderful, cozy and warm. It was quiet and peaceful and as it was away from street lights you could see so many stars at night ! I would definitely want to stay again!”

Was a perfect home base for exploring some of the beaches and trails of the area.”

“This was our 5th stay and we love it. It’s so peaceful and has everything you could need. Allan, the host, is great at keeping in touch and always available if needed. Fully recommended for those who love walking and the peace and quiet. But close enough to Aberdeen and other surrounding town. Close to the Brewdog bar and restaurant at Ellon which allows dogs and lovely food.”

“Ein traumhaftes Cottage, sehr liebevoll bis ins kleinste Detail, es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Direkt am Haus ist eine Weide mit Highland Kühen, und die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt und können Bramble Cottage nur empfehlen!”

“The bothy is full of character, well designed and had more facilities than thought. We had our dog, walked around the beautiful estate. Played in the stunning walled garden. The only thing I think we could have done with is a wee hand held hoover. That’s it. Very much looking forward to another visit.”

“Good location for an escape - Great views on the ocean at sunrise and sunset just a short walk away. Jeremy the host was very welcoming and friendly. House was rather noisy from the elements outside (wind though the old fireplace that has not been covered correctly) plus the noise from interior such as boiler. Original fireplace not usable as advertised however small electric fire was provided. Beds were not the most comfortable and bathroom needs a little love. A welcome pack of basic……

“Fantastic building amenities. I had a great view and loved the space. It was great to have a gym and laundry. It was noisy at night because of the nightclubs close by. The building itself was very quiet. Communication with Charles hope was not very good. It took a while to get answers, if at all. ”
