“Great location for staying in Golden Bay. Quiet, peaceful and rural. We briefly met the host, which was lovely. The accommodation is ideal for two with spacious bedroom/lounge, bathroom and kitchen. Large fridge, just a little difficult to cook a meal, with microwave only and limited microwave dishes, although a bbq was available outside on the deck (which we didn’t use).”

“This cottage with view porch is pre-fab housing, efficiently constructed to use solar power and filtered and UV-treated rainwater. There is a vegetable greenhouse on the property and the hosts are generous in sharing produce. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and clean. The bed is large and superb.
