This is the best accommodation in Tasmania, hands down! Not only the rooms are so pristinely clean that it would satisfy the most hardcore germaphobe, but the staff are unbelievably kind and compassionate. If more people were like David and Helen, the world would be a better place! We keep coming back to stay at the Comfort Inn every time we are traveling, and the check in/out process could not be made easier, no matter what time we arrive or leave. The team at the Inn anticipate every concern and alleviate all issues with utmost empathy and care.
I will never forget David's kindness when we left a valuable item in the room, and his consideration in not judging us, but helping us instead with the most compassion I have experienced even from friends or family. "Staying at The Grand on MacFie allows immersing yourself in exceptional comfort for a reasonable price. When return to Devonport, will stay in The Grand as it was the high point of our lodging during our trip to Tasmania.
Breakfasts are a delight, a five-star dining experience.
It is convenient to the ferry terminal and a short walk to shopping and restaurants. Cradle Mountain and Narawntapu National Park are easily visited on a day trip.
