“Wonderful property. We had pretty bad weather on our visit but the views and the cosy fire made the stay very enjoyable. Communication and details were really great. Highly recommend this property as a fabulous place to stay near the National Park where we enjoyed a fabulous hike. The pizza recommendation up the road was awesome as well.”

“The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. “We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! “We spent several wonderful days at Hazy Daze. Such a comfortable, cozy bach and a great location. Di is an awesome host, extremely responsive, proactive, and helpful. We enjoyed the lake, and the drive to Mt Ruapehu took us only 45 minutes. We'd love to come back! ”
