We stayed in the family room with a spa. The spa is a bit old and the paint was flaking off it. Also took ages to fill up and if you leave it, the water slowly drains out. But the kids loved it. Would also suggest going to laundromat if you want laundry done as the washing machine and dryer ($2 for 30 mins) is pretty average. Would have been good if a quick vacuum was given everyday too - kids mean crumbs everywhere. Towels get changed, everything gets cleaned n beds made everyday. Front counter is super friendly. Overall no complaints. Fitted our requirements.

when I turned down my bed, the bottom sheet did not look like it had been changed, as it was very wrinkled and was not tacked in at top mattress. The room was clean, but we had trouble to get TV to go, we ended up turning off at wall as was too late to talk to anybody. The shower over bath when you are older are harder to get into ... The parking if a big Ute was a bit tight , small driving area

Staff were wicked upon checking in and leaving. The location was very good only thing that really let our stay down - was the bed, it was like sleeping on the floor so very hard. We came up for the Taupo marathon and got no sleep due to it! :( breakfast was ok, good for the price. Bathrooms had had a recent makeover which was nice and the room was clean. Overall well priced just if you have a bad back or can’t handle a hard bed I would stay somewhere else
