Great house great location!

Had an awesome stay here for new years with a group of friends. The house is in a great location so close to town. Nice and quiet street. Couldn’t fault the place at all. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Great location. Walking distance to restaurant or short drive. It is such a big house for groups or families. We are allowed to have early check-in at 2pm which is perfect with our schedules. Easy communication with owner which is appreciated. We found stains on dishwashers and toilets, spiderwebs on windows. The floor in the kitchen is a bit sticky. If more cooking amenities could be provided, it will be great.

Central location with good lake views

Extended family gathering for Christmas. 9 adults which did mean 2 were sleeping in bunk beds but it would have been hard to find a more appropriate place. Easy walk to town, lake, shopping, cafes and restaurants. Good space for parking. Well appointed laundry making a week long stay very easy. We swam most days and the swimming beach was close by. Big open grassy area at end of the street was great for running some steam off our dog. No fenced off area but that wasn’t an issue.

great house great location bit cold

property was great , plenty of room and everything was clean tidy and as advertised. The heating was the only issue once we got the heat pumps working they really didn't heat the house at all. the central heating system in the house was not working so the 2 small heat pumps in living areas wasn't anyway near enough for cold Taupo nights.

Perfect 2 family getaway home

This house was amazing, lots of room, was great for two families, let us all enjoy everyone's company but have space at the same time, especially with having the kitchenette down steers. Also loved the fact town was only a couple of minutes walk Will book this again next year if available.

Warm, comfortable and convenient. Good TVs we’ll appointed kitchen. Wish we had stayed longer. We will certainly try to book it again on future visits to Taupo.

Perfect for us

Group of 7 needed one night enroute home after doing timber trail. Great house, very clean and tidy, lots of room and short walk into town. All facilities as advertised, would highly recommend.
