This is our third year at this resort as a family, we really like it, great rooms, lots of sun loungers, good food options (gf and vegetarian), friendly staff, clean, some night life (music stops at 11pm), some programs (aqua aerobics, yoga, beach boat etc.) highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, all staff were really nice and helpful. The outdoor pool is a good size and well maintained . Room was a decent size too. The only small frustration was the hand soap was shower gel and there’s no milk in the room, but you can get a small jar od milk from the bar. Location is a flat short walk (approx 15-20mins) to bars and restaurants in the village. There’s a good selection on offer for breakfast (we only had B&B) and the staff did excellent job of keeping it all replenished. The hotel offers a free boat transfer service to the beach, which leaves from a location about 5 walk from the hotel. You do get your feet wet getting on and off the boat and sometimes it’s up to knee height, so best to wear shoes that can get wet or be removed easily. Various free activities on offer for health and wellbeing. Special mention to the Activities Team who were all fantastic, enthusiastic and made the holiday more enjoyable. Took part in the water zumba a couple of times, but watching it was just as fun. Would also recommend the paddle surf and no experience is needed! Evening entertainment was varied and music went off at 23:00hrs so didn’t disturb us and we were right on top of it. The main town of Tavira is about 6km away. There is a bus or train but these options are a good 30min walk, so a taxi is easiest option, but it’s well worth the visit. What we really liked was there were lots of older Portuguese guests, which made a nice change to stays we’ve had

Lovely hotel but I can really see why it’s a 4 star! I was by myself and found staff to be very nice and polite. The pinch points were the bar - just hire more staff. There was always a queue. I didn’t go all inclusive but food and drinks I thought was reasonably well ish priced. The other frustration was I got put in a room in the corner which was a bit sad. I understand it was their basic room but it just lacked the luxury a bit. The local area and cute shops are worth the short walk into town - would highly recommend Botega Italiana - lots of veggie options. Lovely hotel but just lacks a tiny bit of refinement.

I liked the location of the property. It was modern and minimalist which I liked. Plenty of outside space to relax in either by the pool on a lounger (which you could find any time of the day) or on comfy outdoor sofas. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful we had an issue with our shower and they had someone fixing it within minutes. I found not much variety at breakfast and quite often hot food options were not very hot, the glasses for juice and water were really small which meant having to refill often. The staff at breakfast weren’t the friendliest either. We arrived at 3pm and had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready, check in was from 2pm so we had expected to get in our room straight away. The gave us an upgraded room which didn’t feel like an upgrade it was on the ground floor looking on to the river . However the terrace space was too small to fit the loungers, table and chairs . As there’s shrubs separating the rooms which is a nice touch but couldn’t sit out without moving the sunbeds out the way. I would ask for a higher floor room if going again. We were staying on a bed and breakfast basis you could also stay all inclusive, we had issues when ordering drinks from the bar as we had to pay for them sometimes we got the small all inclusive ones and sometimes they came in larger glasses when we asked for the larger size they said only did one size which wasn’t the case it depends who serves you. 3€ for a tiny coke didn’t feel value for money.
