Experience Cabanas de Tavira at your own pace, with all the comfort and freedom. The highlight is Cabanas Beach, located on a barrier island in the Ria Formosa. Access is via a short boat trip from the village's waterfront, providing a simple yet special experience. The beach is known for its extensive golden sands, calm waters, and serene atmosphere, ideal for relaxing days by the sea. The waterfront promenade, along the lagoon, is one of the village's most emblematic spots. Among small cafes, restaurants, and traditional boats, a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere prevails. At the end of the afternoon, the scenery becomes even more enchanting with the light of the sunset reflected on the lagoon. The region is also very popular for boat trips, bird watching, and nautical activities such as sailing and windsurfing, taking advantage of the natural richness of the Ria Formosa. In terms of gastronomy, Cabanas stands out for its seafood flavours. Fresh fish and seafood take centre stage at the table, preserving traditions linked to fishing and Algarve cuisine. Cabanas de Tavira is, above all, a place where tranquility, nature, and traditions remain present—an Algarve refuge where roots and the sea meet.
