"We loved our stay - the cabin is beautifully decorated with everything you need - including great bedside lights. Away from the crazy bustle of the town. The view was absolutely stunning - both of the Bay of Islands and the bush. Even got visited by a Morepork one night :). Loved it here - would highly recommend."

"Nicely furnished with all you need, this little place will meet needs. Though you could walk to Te Haumi beach, it would be dangerous on a narrow, busy road and you'd rather go to Paihia beach anyway...so you need a car here. It is right in the forest, as advertised, but the main road is nearby so a bit noisy. The driveway is intimidating but serviceable. All in all, a good value."
