Modern Log Cabin Nestled in the Aspens, Dog Friendly & Private!
Welcome to your home away from home in the beautiful and private Ski Ranches neighborhood of Telluride! Rustic ski chalet meets modern contemporary in this 4 bedroom/3.5 bath 3,324 sq ft log home, offering peace and serenity while providing convenient proximity to all that Telluride and Mountain Village have to offer. Open concept main floor living and an expansive 1,000 sq ft wrap around deck nestled in the aspen trees make it the perfect space for entertaining. This home provides modern amenities such as an upgraded chefs kitchen, stunning hardwood floors and stone work throughout, stylish light fixtures and a centralized stone gas fireplace.
This home features a convenient 2 car garage and ample driveway space for all of your vehicles. On the lower level, you will find a spacious mud room, a cozy den with a sectional sofa and entertainment center and a fully equipped laundry room with a state of the art washer and dryer. Off the den are 2 guest bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds (which can be converted to a king - please reach out in advance if you wish for it to be converted!) and the other with a queen over queen bunk. Both rooms have their own closet space with tons of storage and a desk/workspace. Step right into the hallway to find the shared bathroom space complete with all new upgrades, a combo shower/tub and a double vanity.
The main floor offers a cozy atmosphere with a stunning gas fireplace serving as the main focal point of the home. The fireplace opens up to both a formal sitting area and the sunken in living room with a large smart TV and south facing floor to ceiling windows. Also on this level is the modern kitchen with every amenity you need to cook a gourmet meal, a dining area seating up to 8, a powder room and a third guest bedroom ensuite with a queen size bed and bathroom with a steam shower. Follow the custom wood staircase to the third floor to the primary suite and enjoy a king size bed, a small work area/vanity and a large closet. The luxurious ensuite bathroom comes equipped with a double vanity, a huge walk in shower, a soaking tub and a separate water closet.
Come experience the tranquility and beauty of the Colorado San Juan mountains located just miles from the world class Telluride Mountain Village ski and golf resort, where you can enjoy the finest in skiing, summer and winter festivals as well as cultural activities.
**Please note the following before booking:
-Four wheel drive required in winter season.
-Per strict HOA rules, no outdoor fires in the fire pit are allowed for any rentals
-This is a pet friendly property, but we kindly ask that dogs not be allowed on any furniture or beds. Thanks for your cooperation in this matter!
-This home does not come with free transportation and we recommend having your own vehicle to get into town or the gondola.
-This property is located in a community that enforces quiet time between 10:00pm and 8:00am. This is not a party house, or neighborhood.
-There is no AC in the property - as is common here at 9500ft in altitude!
