Spacious 4-bedroom house, grand views, direct bike and trail access
Perfect location to explore the beauty of Telluride. Have fun with the whole family and enjoy amazing views of the box canyon. The home is ~3 min to town and ~7 min to mountain village. Walk out the front door and access the valley floor trails, bike path, San Miguel River or trails into the backcountry. Enjoy stunning sunsets from the deck or admire the elk wandering the protected land in front of our home. Thoughtfully renovated in 2025. We hope you love it here as much as we do!
THE SPACE
Welcome to Hillside Hideaway! We can't wait to host you. Our home is a spacious 4 bed/2 bath mountain retreat that is perfect for families.
Hillside Hideaway is conveniently located on the valley floor in between town (~4 mins) and mountain village (~7 mins).
Our home borders the open space on the valley floor with direct Box Canyon views - you will be surrounded by the beautiful nature in Telluride all four seasons.
BEDROOMS
Our 4 bedrooms comfortably sleep 8 guests. There are two Queen bedrooms upstairs and one full bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms downstairs: a King bedroom and a Twin bedroom with two twin beds perfect for kids. There is also another full bathroom downstairs.
LIVING ROOMS
We have two cozy, comfortable living rooms at Hillside Hideaway. Upstairs you will find a beautiful custom down sofa and chairs with direct views of the Box Canyon. Curl up with a coffee and read a book while admiring the beautiful mountains. We also have a Smart Frame TV and plenty of board games (Scrabble, Monopoly, Code Names, Uno etc) for game nights.
Downstairs you will find our second living room, complete with a large tv, sectional sofa, and sitting area. Our sofa pulls out which is perfect for movie nights!
In both living areas you will find plenty of cozy blankets, pillows, and accents to ensure maximum comfort while relaxing in our home.
KITCHEN
Our fully stocked kitchen is updated with brand new stainless steel appliances and countertops installed in January 2025. We have all the necessities for cooking (Staub dutch oven, Crockpot, all the needed utensils, etc). Perfect for a memorable meal to enjoy at the large dining table. Our coffee nook is a new addition complete with a Fellow Gooseneck Kettle for morning coffee or evening tea. We recommend enjoying your coffee or tea in our collection of custom mugs from Firestick Pottery Studio in Ojai, CA :)
PARKING
We offer two parking spots in our driveway as well as a covered spot in our garage. Maximum of 3 cars. If you need recommendations for airport transfers we are happy to help as well.
LAUNDRY/STORAGE
Washer and Dryer as well as ski storage located in laundry room downstairs. We have a ski rack next to the garage for skis which can be left outside.
OTHER HIGHLIGHTS
We are located in an amazing family friendly neighborhood just a few steps away from the bike path. The bike path offers beautiful year round walking/biking access into town (less than 2 miles). The town shuttle also stops every ~40 mins at the bottom of our street. We're across the street from the nordic ski trails on the valley floor during winter time. You can pick up hiking trails in the summer right from our neighborhood as well. More details with recommendations will be shared prior to arrival with guests.
Guest access
Upon arrival, guests will be given a unique code to access the property.
Other things to note
We do not allow parties or large groups exceeding 8 people in our home. Out of respect for our neighbors quiet hours must be followed.
There is no smoking allowed on the property.
The home is child friendly and we have a Graco pack and play with organic sheets for use if needed.
