"Booked and paid for this room through Expedia. Was forced to pay again at check in. Completely UNACCEPTABLE! NOT SURE WHO'S SCAMMING WHO HERE!"

"Check in was odd. We were helped by a young child who seemed confused and kept leaving to speak on the phone, presumably to the adult who knew what to do. She didnt take my ID to verify who I was. When we got to the room the door was wide open. To have a hot shower you will need to run the water for 5-10min to warm up. The rooms were as expected based on the state of the outside of the building- chips in the walls, peeling paper, and a poorly patched hole from the door handle where a previous patron must have opened it too hard. The television is old with a fuzzy picture regardless of channel. Booked for 2 people but there was only 1 towel. Staff seemed annoyed when I asked her for another. As well, they would only allow us one room key for 2 people, so we needed to make additional arrangements to complete pass offs in the middle of the day when one person needed access the room and we weren't together. At checkout, 10:30am, all the doors were locked to the three-in-one restaurant/convenience store/motel lobby. I called to ask about checking out and was informed to leave my key in the room and close the door. No hospitality. The current owners do not understand customer service, cleanliness, or the value of amenities. For the cost of this place, it should certainly be considered a scam."

"Stayed April 2026 while attending Northern College. So happy with my choice! From the moment I booked and walked through the door it was perfect. Comfortable, quiet and welcoming. Very relaxing between classes to be able to come back to my own private space with a back yard for fresh air as well. I loved the colourful vibe and wood flooring as an alternate to carpet that might be found in a motel/hotel. Very clean! Would definitely stay again if I was in the area, worth every penny for the upgrade from other options in the area. "

"Easy Parking and quick access to the room with a simple code emailed to you. The only complaint I have is that the window did have a draft making the room a little cold on the second night."

"The room wasn't very clean. Things were broken and falling apart. The blinds were broken and full of holes, they couldn't be shut, the bath matt had been stuffed in the corner of the bathroom and it was ripped and fullnof holes. The bathtub was fullnof rust stain and soap scum and kept leaking. The side table was almost completely undone from it's legs and the room smelt very bad. The screen door was also very rusted and wouldn't close. We have stayed in many motels and hotels before. This was probably one of the worst. I do have to say though that the staff was very nice."
