「We were lucky enough to book this place last minute and so glad we did - it was amazing. Friendly hosts who provided a wonderful welcome basket of milk, juice, yoghurt, biscuits, crisps granola and bread which was a really thoughtful touch. "環境闊落 、清靜優雅、 有煮食爐具 ，酒店老闆體貼入微 。由於跟友人失联， 作為一個女人在異國他鄉 語言不通 ，當時非常徬徨，唯有向酒店老闆求助， 老闆非常熱心， 當即停下 手上的工作 協助我 。因為當日 去基督城 的火車票、公共巴士票當天、明天也售罄， call的士去基督城車費太昂貴， 于是老闆在不同的平台替我找車， 终于找到傍晚時分的交通工具， 他還送我到車站點， 到傍晚時分快上车時忽然又見到他的身影， 此刻我再次熱淚盈眶，太感动了！！ 深感人間有大爱！！"
