「Charming old building with cosy rooms. Excellent restaurant downstairs. Nice views of the river and sailboats. Right at the promenade. Access to the rooms through the staff area of the kitchen. Private bathroom was not en-suite.」

「Lovely couple that host the B &B were so nice and took great care of us. The room was spacious and full of light with many windows and yet private. Breakfast was fantastic and filling. The countryside around the home was breathtaking and remote, yet close to pubs and larger cities. 」

「The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. 「The hotel was clean , the staff very polite and helpful. Could do with small fridge in room , breakfasts were excellent we will stay again if we visit Clacton-on-Sea Overall we were treated very very well.」

「We really enjoyed our stay, beautiful house in the middle of the Suffolk countryside. Our hosts (four legged variety included) were warm, welcoming and made us feel very at home. Our room was wonderful and we had everything we could want for breakfast. 」
