A home away from home (plus pool!)

We spent a great week in this spacious and comfortable house, in a quiet neighbourhood in a lovely part of Spain. It lived up to our expectations and the kids (and we) really enjoyed the pool, trampoline, pool table, bbq and plenty of spots to lounge about. The owner Gil was very helpful and hospitable and gave some great tips for nice beaches half an hour's drive away past Noia. We would be happy to go again, and have recommended it to friends.

Very relaxing stay in a fabulous setting

Fantastic host, an extensive offer on amenities and fresh fruits/ vegetables in the garden free to use, a super good bbq (actually 2 and a pizza oven), lovely garden and a charming house. We felt at home within a minute. All shops nearby and a bakery at walking distance made the picture compete. And some nice sunshine ofcourse!

Fantastic Villa

We had a wonderful time in this spacious secluded villa in the greener part of Spain. The pool table, the trampoline and the golf putting green kept the kids busy, along with picking fruit from the various fruit trees in the large garden. We all enjoyed chilling by the pool and the little ones in the kiddy pool. With ample room in the house and a gate around the pool we were very happy with the choice of our summer 2019 villa.

Relaxing break

Wonderful relaxing holiday , villa is very spacious , and well appointed , outdoor facilities are great , enabling us to spend quality time together making use of the excellent bbq with the additional bonus of fresh and veg from the extensive garden. Han sido unas vacaciones muy buena y la casa y sido hasta mejor de lo q nosotros pensábamos. Es una estancia perfecta para pasar las vacaciones en familia, los niños disfrutan un montón en la casa. A cosy house

We instantly felt at home in this place and I can't put my finger on the exact reason for that. It's homy rather than luxury anyway. The kitchen and the outdoor dining area are directly connected which is very good going between them. We spent a lot of time around the house actually. The pool area, and the big garden along with many different "toys" makes that easy. If you are into guitar music I can strongly recommend to buy some wine and invite the landlord, Gil, for a sesssion! Spanish guitar music is best live. Also, don't forget to pick lemons from the garden for your gin-tonics. I think it is a very good price/quality ratio and the landlord is very helpful and service minded. I strongly recommend it.

amasing trip

There were 7 persons in the Finnish team. Three of us were Disabled and the rest supported and assistenttina us. We took part to camino by wheelchairs and a bike. The camino was amasing. We lived in the villa. It was really perfect for us. We managed quite well and the villa was almost accessible. The location was very good for us as we had our own cars. The property was clean and the garden was wonderful even as early as May. The onnea Mr Gil Fernandes was really helpfull. He even came to take us when we were lost late in the evening. We needed his advices quite many times. Thank you so much! I have already recommended this property. We had kunch on the camino. So we spent evenings in the villa. It was a good place to relax.

We spent 3 weeks here with our 3 children (6, 9,11). The house is lovely and well equipped, and the pool, trampoline, pool table and massive garden meant there was always something to occupy the time when we weren't out enjoying nearby beaches and towns. Beautiful villa in rural Galicia

We spent a wonderful relaxing week in your lovely villa. Our teenage boys particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and the pool table. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and made good use of your splendid BBQ. Thank you for all your help and advice with regards to where to visit and where to eat out.

Lovely family villa

We stayed here in August with our three boys and my wife's parents. The villa is a very relaxing and homely place to stay. We all loved the big swimming pool and the games that were in the house; the boys spent a lot of time on the pool table and the trampoline. It was a nice area to be in and the beach, which was an hour away, was beautiful. We would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone and the owner, Gil, was extremely friendly and helpful.

Explore Galicia!

We spent 10 days with family (teenage kids) and thoroughly enjoyed the villa with its pool, gardens and BBQ. If you have not been to Galicia yet do go and explore; the area has beautiful scenery from mountains to coastline, numerous coves and beaches , fabulous food and wine, and a fascinating history, woven into the landscape. It is more difficult to access from the UK although there are three airports within an hour's drive of the villa, the most obvious being Santiago de Compostela, which providesa very modern welcome to the area. You will need a car with the advantage of having all of Galicia's towns and villages within about an hour's drive ( Lugo, the furthest but worth a visit is 1,5 hrs but this will be reduced with the construction of a new motorway) On the (slightly) less positive side, don't expect much from the nearest town in terms of restaurants or sight-seeing ( although there is a very good supermarket) and local dogs bark all night!!

Sightseeing, beaches, food and wildlife.

We enjoyed two weeks in this spacious villa. The house was well equipped with everything you could need and more. The pool table was particularly popular. The garden was lovely and we made good use of the swimming pool and trampoline particularly in the first week when the weather was hot and we ate outside almost every evening. From the villa there was easy access to the magnificent Santiago as well as Pontevedra and the spectacular north and west coasts. Muros was particularly good for seafood restaurants and we also had good meals in Santiago, especially at O Curro da Parra. This is a great part of Spain for fish and seafood. If you are interested in wildlife Fragas de Eume (near A Coruna), the Lagoon de Louro , Corrubedo and the river Ulla (near Pontevea) are worth a visit. There was also a magnificent ocellated lizard which enjoyed the sun regularly on the garden wall. Gil was tremendously helpful in responding to our questions both before and during our stay. For families, with a car, this is a good location in an interesting part of Spain with few British tourists.

A private space

Spacious property with generously proportioned, comfortable rooms and a huge garden, perfect for football and badminton. Family with teenage friends enjoyed the pool table, the swimming pool and the variety of private spots to sit in sun/shade and relax. A car is essential as this is off the tourist track, but a swift drive took us to Compostella, the north coast, Padron and the west coast. A perfect spot to get away from it all, enjoy privacy and change gear. The owner is about to upgrade the washing machine and it would be worth checking that there are sun umbrellas for the pool area.
