“An experience out of this world. The stars are amazing, the remoteness was epic and the tent was very nice. The one thing that I did notice was the day before they had high winds which created a lot of dust. I have asthma and noticed that the dry air and dust can impact you if you’re not used to it. The bed was comfortable and the outhouse was adorable. Would stay here again, it would be great if there were a few more tents for larger groups. The owner is awesome and easy to connect with……

“We came for the hiking and stayed for Pat O’s front porch with exceptional views! Superior location for Big Bend NP and the region. Bed is comfortable- great sleeping. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bath and kitchen are remodeled. Lovely fire pit though we didn’t use because of windy conditions during our stay (for ban in effect).”

“Secluded in an open dessert. This was definitely a place to unwind and de-stress. The stars were overwhelming each night. The camper was a perfect balance for me. Nice and comfortable without diminishing the relationship I was experiencing with the natural beauty of the Chihuahuan Dessert.”

“House was great. Could use some updates. The upstairs bathroom was extremely small. We were very impressed that all the toiletries were available and extra if needed, the dryer vent had not been cleaned in some time and should be checked often. We visited Far Flung outdoor adventures; the guide was great. We did the 360-jeep tour, also went to Starlight for dinner, the cantina next door to starlight, Venga for brunch, free mimosas on Sundays! Hiked closed canyon, which was beautiful. Went……

“This property is amazing - a very memorable place to spend my 50th birthday. Very spacious with accommodation over 3 floors- my sons were delighted with the flight simulation and complete cockpit- very cool. Plenty of seating on all 3 levels and outside so lots of options for hanging out and also easily able to give each other space. Great views of the mountains in daylight and the stars at night. Very well equipped- particularly appreciated the wet bar, ice machines and of course the WiFi. A……

“A friend and I stayed here while visiting Big Bend National Park. The casita was spotless, close to the park and provided a great place to rest in between park adventures!”

“Property is exactly as described - off grid cabin. Very comfortable place to come back to and relax after long days of hiking, canoeing, and explore Big Bend. Looking up at the stars at night was one of the highlights for us.”

“The property is spectacular! The scenery, sunrises, sunsets, and the night sky are all beautiful. Lots of wildlife around during the evenings. Hot tub is a great way to relax after a day of hiking at Big Bend. Mark and Michelle were wonderful hosts, so friendly and helpful. RV has everything needed, including some handy extras (ziploc bags, tupperware, etc.) that you may not have as a traveler. Property is remote, about 45 minutes from Big Bend entrance, but a little extra driving is worth it.”

“Very small room”

“This is a very pleasant VRBO on the Terlingua Ranch property. It’s a little hard to get to, but that’s part of the appeal. The hosts are wonderful. There is wildlife (deer, birds and fox) visible from the porch or hot tub. The Terlingua Lodge and Bad Rabbit Cafe are only about a mile away. The skies are super dark and the stars are amazing.”

“This place is beautiful. Property is beautiful. The hair didn’t send me the code so thankfully, some other tenants were able to help me get in contact with the host for my code since I had no service. There were some fleas in the shower and on the bed. disappointed for how expensive the rooms were. One unoccupied room had every light on and a massive window with no blinds, so it was frustrating when we tried to e since it ruined the darkness a bit. Besides that, it was a nice stay”
