「I really enjoyed my stay there with my mom! The Candelia Cafe had such delicious food, chef Smajo was amazing! We did come during the rain season (june) and so there were a lot of mosquitos but general store did have bug spray. I would still bring your own just in case! If you are driving, come on the Alpine side! It was such a beautiful place to be and to be off the grid. The staff helped us with whatever we needed and it felt right out of a Western movie.」

「My son and I stayed here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The pool is open 24 hours and was beautifully refreshing in the desert heat. Highly recommend this place. They are great staff and care so much about protecting the environment of Big Bend region. 10/10」

「The location is only 4 minutes drive to Big Bend which is a big plus for us. We stayed there 4 nights, and the host is responsive and keep the trash in our room cleaned every day. The check in and check out thrue texting is also convenient for us because we check in late and check out early thanks to the smart door lock. The layout is practical and in room appliances (microwave, fridge, hair blower) are also help us staying in there for easy breakfast and dinner. Overall, I recommend this...

「Our room at Big Bend station was greatly enjoyed, but there were a few odd things about it such as that the sheets smelled like mildew and there was something that looked a lot like blood smeared near the top of the door frame in the bathroom. There was also a small hole in the wall of the bathroom which was odd. 「Pretty rough, toilet would not flush unless assisted by raising tank lid, shower tub ultra slick and very slow to drain, the curtain was see through, cigarette butts scattered outside the door, bedspread was creepy, no shampoo but a tiny bar of soap, light and air leaks at top and bottom of door, only one bug in bath!
