“Very convenient, comfortable and clean place to stay for my visit to Big Bend, Terlingua and surrounding area. The host was very nice and helpful with check in and any questions I had. The only minor inconvenience was a problem with the tv streaming services (probably operator error) and no ice machine. But I would definitely stay here again. ”

“We loved everything ! The unit was well equipped and stocked. Beautiful design and privacy. The only non 5 star rating was for location. The road leading to the containers is terrible . We drive a Subaru Outback and took it slow. I will return but next time I will rent a jeep or pickup. I have already recommended Fossil Knob Thank you”

“The Camp Elena Ocotillo Tent 1 was impressive!! We weren't completely sure what to expect but this was glamping at it's finest! Having access to a small fridge, microwave, coffee and a sink worked out great for us. The bathroom was impeccable and had a lovely spa-type feel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the blankets very warm and cozy, which made for a great nights sleep! The attached patio and grill were also very nice and we sat out there a good bit. “The property offered a place to rest and recuperate from a long day of hiking. A shower and a place to lay our heads for a good night's sleep. Our room was comfortable and once we figured things out, we had a good stay. This was an interesting layout with a few nuances for "living off the grid"! Overall, enjoyable!”
